OMG guys, London was set alight last night with the World Premier of Avatar and it definately was not a dissapointment. Many a star rolled up to the red (well actually it was blue) carpet, and set the ball rolling on a movie who's first scriptment was penned by James Cameron in 1994.

The Premiere like the movie, promised a host of huge stars including our lovely Michelle Rodriguez and the legendary Sigourney Weaver. Now you can imagine the coronary failure I nearly experienced when I discovered that both these amazing role models were to appear in the same movie together and having been a huge fan of the Aliens Saga from a young age, have always been in awe of Sigourney and in many respects feel that Michelle has enpowered the same "kick ass", "girls can do it better" messages (that Sigourney first layed out), and reached out to the younger generation and has evolved them to create an even stronger persona for herself.

Of course having discovered the two were to appear at the Premiere together, I just knew I had to get down to London and become a part of what promised to be a huge event. Now I have already met Michelle earlier this year at the London premiere of Fast and Furious and was in such star strucked awe of having one of my idols standing in front of me, that when i produced the poster I had made her, was unable to tell her my name, let alone spell it.

You can imagine my embarrassment at my inabililty to form words thus made it my mission last night to meet Michelle again and correct all of them embarrassments. This preparation of course started with the making of yet another poster, a bracelet, and a 300mile journey down to London. Once there I camped out from 6am in the freezing cold foggy conditions (on my own I might add) just to ensure I got the best spot available.

Come the event I was numb but totally psyched about seeing Michelle again, and when she was the first to arrive, I thought I may pass out with excitement. However in true Michelle style she spent over an hour signing autographs for those fans who couldnt even get close to the event set up, which allowed me to calm my nerves ready for when she headed my way. She eventually swept up the carpet like a princess in her beautiful black gown and as her eyes honed in on the poster me and my better half had poured blood sweat and tears into, made a bee line for us. At last here it was, my big moment, and I am pleased to say I didnt choke. Yes there was the rambling and a tad bit of the shakes but Michelle stood there and listened to me ramble, she smiled, gave autographs and best of all, I finally got a picture with me in it.

I have in my short time of attending premiere's, met quite a number of stars, but none of them are anything like Michelle. She has such a personal approach to her fans, not one gets left out. She makes you feel like you have known her for years. After giving interviews to the press she even came back and stood chatting to me and my partner, even though she was meant to be going inside. She laughed and joked with us, and when I showed her the "One Love" tattoo I have in her honour she couldnt quite believe it (I think her exact words were "F***ing Hell Yeah, give me a high five"-which of course I obliged). Add the fact I also hand made her a bracelet with the same slogan, and for five minutes she made me feel like we were friends. Last night was so surreal for me in more ways the one, I met Michelle, I met Sigourney plus many of the other cast members, I got some awesome pics , and best of all we were situated in the only fans pen directly outside the event.

Guys if ever you get the chance to meet Michelle anywhere, just go, i am sure she will sign for you (unless there's a really good reason why she can't), she is the most amazing person with an amazing personality and I am so graetful to James Cameron for giving her a role in this movie because finally she is beginning to get the global recognition she deserves.

I've met her twice now, the first time was at the Fast and Furious premiere and believe me I was lost for words. When she came over and I showed her the poster I made her she asked what my name was so she could write it on there and I completely forgot my name and how it was spelt. This time round I couldn't stop talking lol......i think I defo made up for my stuttering mess from the first time round

Your very very lucky, to have met a woman of her caliber, intelligence, grace, talent and beauty and Im so glad she didnt dissapoint. I love how amazing she is to her fans, and I watched your video and she was so shocked and touched when you gave her your bracelet, thats so amazing of her. That woman has a heart and soul most people can only dream off.

I really hope and pray that I do meet her someday, I shall practice spelling my name before hand, and try not to faint lol.

I think the funniest thing about the whole episode was when I showed her the tattoo I have in her honour. It says "one love" that;s the part where she says "are you kidding me" and gives me a high five, I still don't think she realises just how much people idolise her

People who dont think much of themselves are always humble and dont think they're a big deal, are always actually THE big deal. Same with so many woman out there, those that try to be sexy and try hard to be thought of as beautiful never are, yet Michelle doesnt think of herself as sexy, tries to infact stay the hell away from it all and doesnt try at ALL...yet everybody and they momma think shes the hottest thing walking.

Its always when you dont try, and she never does. Hence why shes as amazing, cool and down to earth.

:) Awesome experience. Just read and Michelle sounds totally cool and down to earth. Also, you got some real great shots of her - she really looks amazingly pretty. Makes me want to shout out "HAHA" to all the haters back in the 'Ana-lucia' LOST days that had something bad to say about MR or her appearance. But, alas, I'm more mature than that so I won't! :P LOL.

Seriously, though, great experience. Glad you were able to get something more out of the second time you met up with her.
