Lost Angel - September 26, 2009 05:26 PM (GMT)
Which does everyone like/prefer, wanna visit? (:
Most of the US i wanna see before 3-0 hits. Prefer LA & Hawaii, tho cant decide which is better.

Been to LA, and it's a very cool place, but it's a lot to take. Not the most relaxing place by any means, and the people leave something to be desired, lol. I do plan to live there soon, but in terms of going somewhere to breathe and have a great time, Hawaii most definitely, followed probably by NY. In Hawaii you've got waterfalls, surfing, secluded beaches, temples, cool and kind people, great food, and peace. That's my kind of place. In NY you've got interesting people, buzz, art, architecture, cool clubs, etc. So it'd be my second choice. As for Vegas, I love me some Blackjack and it's a fun place for a crazy weekend with friends, but definitely not on my tops list.

I chose NY. To me, no city (other than Paris and Toronto) can beat that place. Like Leigh said, the culture, the buzz, architecture, art, etc....it's so amazing to me. And the people there, I much prefer the attitude there to LA. It's more real and upfront; Shut up and deal. I love that about them. They're not fake and air headed. And for the times of needing a beach on a hot summer day...hello rooftop pools and the Hamptons!! :)

I went to New York last year and I loved it. It was pretty shocking to see so many people around all at once. I love going by the parks and viewing the art that people make and sell. I had this awesome portrait of Alicia Keys where it was a picture of her but it was consisted of different pics of new york, but i left it in the hotel lobby :( .
And here is a secret that I figure out. If there is something that you really want and the person comes at you with a ridiculous high price, say no ;)
If I wanted to go somewhere it would be Hawaii. So mellow and such beautiful scenery. L.A. would come second. For a TV/Movie person like myself, it would be a great place to visit. Last would be Vegas. Vegas would be like a weekend visit for my B-day but nothing more.

I voted for NY. :) As much as I'd love to go to each one of those places, NY is probably the first place I would go to. Hawaii goes right after that. And then LA and Las Vegas.

I'm kinda on the fence...either Hawaii or NY. I visited New York when I was 16 but I'm sure it would be a totally different experience as an adult. And I've always wanted to go to Hawaii but I've heard it is incredibly expensive so I'm thinking that will probably be a "later in life" trip (unfortunately). I have no desire to visit LA for some reason. My aunt lives there & hates it...I guess it's different if you visit but she says it's really overwhelming with all the traffic & people & craziness. Vegas was a little overwhelming for me (fun & exciting though) but I'm used to a really laid back lifestyle cause I'm a southern girl :) My favorite place to visit is actually New Orleans. It doesn't get any better than that for me.

I agree with you on that point. Ppl in Paris are way too pretentious and mean.
