Just wondering how many of you have seen this movie already, if you haven't you should definitely check it out; it's got a good storyline if you know nothing about the Joes (if you do then it's only decent because of a few modifications they've taken when writing the script), lots of action which will make any action junkie happy, cool gadets for the gear heads in the group, and plenty of exotic locations to emerse the story in. The characters are the main focus of the film, just as any film, and for the most part I'd have to give them a solid B on the introductions of the Joes, again, if you're a fan of the Joes from the comics/cartoon/or toys then there are some things that aren't completely correct and depending on how hardcore you are will drive you completely insane with irratation; the casting of the characters isn't bad either especially Ray Parks as "Snake Eyes", he had to be the best cast of them all I think.

The storyline goes as this: James McClellan is an arms dealer who's sold nano tech warheads to NATO, the twist - he's planning on stealing them back and taking over the world in a way; the only thing standing in his way is G.I. Joe. When you first meet the team they aren't with Duke at the helm, in fact, they end up saving him from the Baroness whom McClellan sent to steal the warhead for him; once the movie starts we learn Duke and the Baroness have a past - on that may help or harm the Joes. Can G.I. Joe stop McClellan and save the world or will evil reign surpreme?

Okay, not that great at summaries, but trust me it's an awesome movie and definitely worth seeing on the big screen. It's something that everyone in the family can enjoy thanks to it's PG-13 rating and is geared for both the newcomers and die hard fans alike with all the Joe/Cobra cameos such as Cover Girl, Flint (even though they don't technically call him that), and Dr. Mindbender - plus if there's a sequel (which I'm sure they're well be) there's just so many more characters who can be added, the possiblity is really endless although you do hope they add some of the major names like Major Bludd, Lady Jayne, Beachead, Shipwreck, and Deep Six to name a few.

Pros: Good storyline, lots of action, nice characters, amazing gadgets, great fight scenes, various locations, and a PG-13 rating so everyone can enjoy it.

Cons: It is a summer movie so it's not going to be the next "Godfather" or old "Star Wars", it is what it is and it's fun; it's not completely correct with character data (which really is the biggest and only complaint about this movie I can even come up with) so fans who really know the characters and storylines might be disappointed by the changes they've made and it can feel like the movie is a little short but that's just because you wanted to see what came next everytime something happened.

Overall Review/Suggestion: GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!! I've seen it twice already with casual fans and both times they left wanting to already see the sequel coming; it's worth the $10, trust me.

I would post the changes to the storyline from the comics/cartoons but I don't want to give away too many spoilers, if anyone out there wants to know - PM me and I'll be happy to tell you anything about the film you want to know ahead of time. And remember -

"Yo, Joe!" :)

Sienna Miller looks good as the Baroness aswell. I really can't remember who snakes eyes is so who is he?

Ray Park is the guy who plays Snake Eyes, he was 'Toad' in the first "X-Men" if that helps you any; he's also a real black belt in martial arts so he did practically all his own stunts just like in "X-Men"...he's really good in this, trust me. And Sienna was really good as the Baroness, which I'm so happy for because she's like my favorite "G.I. Joes" bad guy and one of my favorite characters from the series period; again, wasn't crazy about the storyline in part they saddled her with in this film, but she was awesome and her fights with 'Scarlett' were even better than the ones the guys had I thought...when they tied into it you just knew it was going to be awesome after their first one. :)

The glasses they set up for her were totally kick butt as well, especially since the character always has to wear them to see (at least according to the comic books - few slip ups in the movie near the very end, but acceptable some) - they came with built in ability to tint when she was outside in the sun and then go clear when inside (like transition lens do now - all the stuff is based in a form of actual existance which was so cool in and of itself) and a digital heads up display which allowed her to zoom in on people's faces to see who they were from far off distances....they were just cool. So was Scarlett's crossbow too - built in GPS arrows with an explosion punch, you just have to see it, it's awesome!

Definitely suggest everyone check it out, so worth the price.
