When I first heard about this a couple of weeks ago I thought they were going to be rebuilding by bringing in a new cast and everything, but I was wrong. David and Courtney Cox Arquette have already been confirmed and both Wes Craven and Neve Campbell are still negotiating. They even have the same writer as the previous three films.

So who do you all think wants to kill Sidney now? :P

I hate to say it, but I cannot wait for this! LOL. It's a cliche series, but for a reason. It pretty much started the cliche so it's got a free pass to carry it on, and it was always so dramatic yet was practically a spoof which just made it kinda brilliant in a ridiculous sort of way. Neve Campbell is an old fave of mine. She is a truly phenomenal actress and any chance to see her act her ass off is welcomed in my book. And as silly as the series is cinematically, she's always been awesome in it as Sydney. And my opinion is that Courtney Cox has only ever been great in two roles....obviously as Monica on Friends, and as Gale Weathers in the Scream series.

I am so excited for this. It's a truly guilty pleasure from my 90s teen years, lol.

HELL YEAH me too L. i can't wait for this. it's so scary and funny at the same time. have the collector series in dvd. if has a good story line like the rest and dont mess up the trilogy im good

PS. I HOPE somehow they bring Randy back for a cameo like they did in scream 3 :D

I wonder if Patrick Dempsey will be in it? He's so popular right now and Scream 3 ended with he and Syndey together. I think they'd be smart to bring him back given his Grey's fame.

You know how at the beginning of each Scream Movie someone that has some sort of connection with Sidney dies? The first one it was her classmate, the second it was the couple who's last and first name was similar to Sidney's mom's name. Then in the third it was the guy that was accused of murdering her mother in the first place. I have a sneaky feeling that either Gail or Dewey is going to die in the beginning this next one. It's not like someone close hasn't died before (Randy dies in part 2). If they keep the running gag of Dewey getting stabbed 34698495 times and surviving then I think Gail dies. If not then, Dewey 9 lives are finally going to run out.

I totally forgot he played the detective in Part 3.

Oh, I totally need to get the first movies on DVD.... Looking forward to Scream 4!

Nah I don't think that would be a good idea. I think the only way to kill Sidney would be at the end of the movie. I also thought they should of did the same with Jamie Lee Curtis.

The first "Scream" was a great movie, the second and the third one wasn't all that, but they were cool. Lookin' forward to the 4th part though, it's been 9 years since the last movie, maybe they have some great and fresh ideas this time.

Have to go to Blockbuster and put Scream 1 through 3 back in my brain before numero 4 comes out!!!

Neve campbell is just amazing as sidney.And i love Coco cox!. Bringing back patrick for this movie would help it alot although i think it will do fine without him as its gonna be fantastic on its own!.

Lauren Graham is out. She had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts, supposedly. Same for Lake Bell. Also, Kevin Williamson is no longer the writer. I'm starting to worry for this project.

Lauren and Lake Bell Drop out do to scheduling conflict their reps confirmed. They are both Replace with Mary Shelton and Mary mcdonld (donnie darko mom).

Kevin is not out. He's script will be used but he won't be on set since he's Detroit writing the second season of his Show Vampires Diaries. They need a writer on set just in case something in the script needs changing. No need to Worried. I have following this movie since being announce.

If he's not on set that means they can make as many changes as they'd like, aka ruin everything, which is typically what happens when the writer isn't on set. So, they just lost two awesome cast members and replaced them with no names, they ruined Hayden's part and she's not happy about it, and the head writer won't be anywhere near the set during filming. So yeah I'm still worried, lol.

lol I could see why u are worried. I wouldn't consider the two actress they replace no names but that just me. I happy with that casting choose. I loved most of their movies. They do have a writer on set who has work history with the scream franchise. Sure, it sucks Kevin is busy with his show so he can't be on set but he did gave his final draft and work on set for while until he had to go. I don't believe the Hayden part. That rumor came from gossip site like 1 day after we say pictures of her on set laughing and seeming to be having a game time. Polishing script happens all the time nothing new and im sure Kevin will have a say on it. I read some of it and its awesome. All I know is that i can;t wait for it. :D

I liked these movies when I was younger, but I don't think I would like them now.
