I believe unless they're caught in the act, then they should be given basic human rights and the right to be investigated and tried fairly in case they're innocent, but in regards to covering them under American law when they're neither in America nor American makes little to no sense. Now that's a head scratcher, lol. We should always lead by example in regards to human rights, but still somehow the legalities of this sounds kinda funky.

Huh...If they're not in America then I don't get it. Hmm..head scratcher indeed.

Oh, and there's more. :) If you are a terrorist on our Watch List,
you can buy a gun. Gotta love it!

Agreed, Leigh...The whole objective is to prove that we are a better "person" than they are.
As for the funkiness...Well, it's all kind of crazy. Are they simple criminals or prisoners of war?

“The Justice Department confirmed last week that FBI agents in Afghanistan are reading Miranda warnings to suspected terrorists captured there”.
You are innocent until proven guilty, you have the right to…etc.
Good for the FBI agents, they are professionals. The sad part of this is why the Afghan authorities can’t do the same. There would be no need for foreign involvement in that country if they could.
