Title: What Next?

Lost Angel - April 29, 2009 08:24 PM (GMT)
Just curious what other fans want to see from Michelle next career-wise?? Since she's very multi-talented with her DJ-ing and fashion designing on top of being an actress, writer & director. ;)

I'd love to see a perfume brand and auto-biography sometime in the not so distant future. =)

BekI - April 29, 2009 09:10 PM (GMT)
Noooo, no perfume. I don't think many celebrities can get away with making a perfume without it seeming tacky now. The autobiography sounds good, but maybe when she's in her late 70s. Teehee.

I think she'd be a good spokeperson for an organisation. Maybe in an Angelina Jolie role though for an animal charity or something. I dunno.

Ha, agreed.

Whatever she does I assure you will always have to have some level of artistry. So basically most of what she's dabbled in thus far such as a DJing, designing clothes and accessories, painting, drawing, charity work, writing books and/or scripts, etc are definitely up her alley and people shouldn't be at all surprised to see her do much more of all of these things in the future. Right now its just a matter of making the right moves and establishing some power so she can do more of what she wants to do (which includes most if not all of the above) and then you'll definitely see her covering the spectrum more, though never in a cliche fake celeb way. You'll never ever see her put her name onto anything she doesn't truly believe in or have a passion for anymore whether its in terms of acting or anything else.

In my opinion, she's been in enough action films. I would like to see some real flexing of her acting skills.

Admin - April 30, 2009 03:05 AM (GMT)
I think she's yet to even scratch the surface on action. I mean realistically speaking, in all the action films she's ever been in she's thrown one punch, or simply fired a gun, or died. Or all of the above, lol. Never has she been able to really let loose and do big things in action. The closest she got to it was sparring scenes in Girlfight. It took 9 years (FF4) for someone to let her do a real full on action sequence and let her show her stuff. In the past its only been in "blink and you miss it" moments whether a crazy cool kick in SWAT and Bloodrayne or a jump in Resident Evil or punch combo in Girlfight or car jump and truck surfing in Fast & Furious. But nothing's ever been more than just those little moments here and there. She's by far yet to be used to her full physical potential. She does more action in her down time than she does onscreen and being an ACTRESS known for ACTION FILMS....there's something a little odd with that, lol, and you can only blame studios who want to throw her bit bitch parts or slut shit.

I think she will find a perfect balance alternating between kicking ass and being dramatic. And maybe being funny too. But to abandon physicality when its something she excels at yet rarely gets to show in my mind would be crazy. I think she can do both, no need to drop one for the other. The only thing is, getting Hollywood to understand that she can do both. Right now Hollywood thinks the only female who can alternate between blockbuster action and Oscar-worthy drama is Angelina Jolie. And I think they're sorely mistaken.

Me three.

I think it's crazy because I don't even think Angelina can even act. Yes, I said it, sorry to anyone and all that take offense from it. But I think the only reason she gets the roles, is cause she is all T and A, rarely you have a movie without her taking off her clothes in one shape or another, or even alluding to it. I mean... yeah she has some moments, but nothing with her really stood out for me, even in that movie... changling? I don't see what the big deal is with her and I really wish they would pass the torch to someone who can really do her stuff and not just because they're overly annoying sexified.

I agree with you Leigh because Michelle has a kick a$$ attitude skillz and she should win an ocsar for that and will Michelle Rodriguez have her name on one of the Hollywood stars?

I'm sure she'd wait until her later years too, but she'd easily fill a whole book even though she's 30. :) I wouldn't mind seeing her make a voice appearance on "Family Guy" or "The Simpsons"....That'd be fun. ;)

BekI - May 2, 2009 06:49 PM (GMT)
^ Oh yeah, that would be cool. Simpsons though. I like Family Guy but Simpsons has the edge. :)

maximiliano_97 - May 2, 2009 09:23 PM (GMT)
Leigh, when we're going to see the michelle's fashion creations ?

don't you think that maybe you can show like a gallery with michelle's clothes and accesories ? LOL :P

Admin - May 2, 2009 09:34 PM (GMT)
When she gets back to them, lol. As it stands, she's dropped the clothing line due to the economy and just being too busy. Maybe someday though, you never know.

maximiliano_97 - May 3, 2009 03:50 AM (GMT)
the clothing line is only for women or is for men. too ? i would like a clothing line for men too.. I think that she can do an awesome work.. GO MICHELLE GO.. I want wear Ishkadada :D

And I was thinking ..Michelle, you can make a CD MUSIC :D .. If a person without any talent can make a cd music like Paris Hilton.. Why you hasn't one ? COME ON

Admin - May 3, 2009 03:58 AM (GMT)

The new Ripley. One of the great movie sci-fi series of all time, Aliens and all it's incarnations, portrayed a great female character doing what great females do, protect there families.
Irregardless to the consequences to themselves.
