It's too bad it's only going to be one episode, I really liked her character on the show and even though she ran afoul of the law, I'm pretty sure she liked living in Hawaii for the most part.

Well, shall see. I hope it's true for the sake of the show. It's becoming kinda bleak.

It looks pretty legit. And for all we know it did come from someone in Michelle's camp that didn't want to get in trouble with his or her bosses so they asked not to be named. I've already contacted my people in Hawaii to see if it's true but I think Leigh can find out faster than I can.

I think it would be a mistake to ask Leigh about any of this. Read what you will and then just wait and find out.

Honestly I consider the whole "tailie" season a big waste now. Its obvious they had a hit on their hands and didn't know what to do...so they bring in a whole new story. I think you could watch season 1, skip the tailie year, and not miss a beat. Numerous times during that season they would hint at something and then it just gets dropped. The actors were misused...probably due to whining by the regulars over air time. Michelle was the only reason to watch.

They did that in Britain, on 1 of the repeats on channel 4 which used to air LOST, they actually skipped, The Other 48 Days, and went straight onto Collision. That just pissed me off, it felt like that ep didnt even matter, and when Michelle was on LOST she looked so unused in the second half of the 2nd season, im sure im not the only who felt that way. Anyway, there's nothing left of the Tailes now, excluding Bernard...If Michelles agreed to come back as Ana they must be on good terms. ;) Whatever im not complaining she might be reprising Ana for an ep! :)

In that interview they stated that she'd have to share screentime with some other... actor? I couldn't understand what the interviewer said. But hm, perhaps we'd find out more backstory about her? Maybe even something about her 'Danny'?cause they left that wide open.

"Entertainment Weekly reported that "Lost" will bring back the ill-fated Michelle Rodriguez (DUIs in real life; shot to death on the show). The brief article mentions that Rodriguez probably will return for just one episode. "As a result," it read, "the risk to Hawaii's roadways is said to be minimal." The slew of reader responses indicates that despite her huge number of devotees, "Lost" fans aren't terribly fond of her. But she always generates news!"

LOST fans aren't terribly fond of her? I beg to differ. She brought a lot to the show and I always felt she could have been one of the main characters along with Locke, Sawyer, Jack and Kate. Her getting killed was a waste. Plus the show only has like 6 episodes a season so it would have given michelle plenty of time to film other projects.

All I know is, between the season she was on and the season she left, the show's ratings halved. Ana haters were just louder, not greater in size. The average Lost fan doesn't go online and post on forums and such, so their voices went unheard. Not saying the average viewer loved her, but they clearly didn't hate her with as much fury as those fans who live online, and unfortunately those were the only ones anybody ever listened to. Oh well.

Look, they had award nods, their highest ratings, and constant coverage while she was on it and the second she left the ratings went down, the buzz died off, and the nods stopped coming in. Not saying it was all her of course, but still, something clearly shifted when she and then the rest of the tailies left. Make of it what you will. But I'd say the proof is in the Dharma pudding.

^^ Because after season two the show got stupid. i never watched the show until my brother told me that Michelle Rodriguez was in it and after she left i stop not becuz of Michelle becuz they didn't explain nothing from that hatch or libby, nothing, zipo. They just went straight to the others and forgot everything that happen in season two. sh-t til this day i do not know what is the Monster and the point of the number.

the third season sucked because it focused too much on kate screwing sawyer and not enough plot. They seemed to even it out a bit in the fourth season, but I think people got tired of the continual bs with the love triangle. They were close enough in the 4th season but no cookie result. Though I bet you all a big cookie that Michelle's episode is gonna top the charts for the last two seasons by far.

Exactly, and there wouldn't have been as much room for that repetitive crap had Ana and the tailies been kept around for longer and given the show a bigger purpose as it seemed to have originally intended. When they removed the tailies, they left a gaping hole they for some reason felt could be filled with shipper nonsense and pointless plot arcs.

Yeah, agreed i still don't see why they brought them along in the first place if they were just gonna get killed off. It just seemed pointless. And no only that, I just can't help but see how much more the third season would have been improved if they kept the way they were originally planning, and all the left over tailies alive. Ana would have gotten to see Zack and Emma again, she probably would have figured out that she knew Jack's father, had she gotten off the island with all them, or at least maybe even Jack would have found out after. I mean.... I still irks me that we clearly see Sawyer bump into Christian and Ana with the car, and from our pin point and camera angle, sawyer clearly had a clear view of the contants and Christian and her, or even maybe occur to him he said Ana with Jack's dad....

Blah, the things lost likes to forget.

But yeah... I seriously hope that ABC is rolling in their graves that they'd dug, especially with Michelle landing her role in Avatar and FATF, the latter of which looks so sick with Michelle doing those stunts. For all those that say Kate does all the awesome climbing, I'd like to see Evi pull off the stunts we always see Michelle do.

^ Nicely said. Maybe its just me, but i saw Ana becomin Zac and Emma's maternal mother on that island until she got them back home to there real mother in LA. But yeah, they bumped her off and Lost suffered because of it. ;) Lost was a hit in season 1, season 2 still a hit, Ana Lucia apparently being,'The most hated character in a tv show', whether you loved her, hated her, she made a major impact on that show, not even the haters can deny that. Personally i think there's a lot worse than hating a charcter, branding characters boring, Ana made a stir which i thought was great. :) And if Ana had been given more screen time and had lived onto have more back stories, seeing her being shot by Jason when she's pregnant, her relationship with Danny, and more of a look into the one she had with her mother, im sure the haters would have been converted. ;) Season 3 was a disaster. I can see them regretting bumping off her character once shes had the sucess she's going to have with FAF, BiS, Tropico de Sangre and Avatar. They might not admit it, but we'd know that they'd think it!

^^- Exactly. I'm sure that given the chance to see the softer side, which they really didn't elaborate on, I'm sure she could be loved much like Sawyer was. I mean..... Sawyer was a prick through out the first season and yet everyone loved him, such a double-standard with the women though. Show them tough and they're automatically branded a bitch with a majority of people.

I mean, there was a such a hidden level of Ana's softness too, that really only came out with Zack and Emma, and also in the deleted scenes. And maybe if they showed her pregnant or something I'm sure that maybe it would get people thinking. Especialy if the pre-accident Ana wasn't completely to the hardened woman we see onscreen. Not only that, she was rather openly flirtatous, challenging and well... Strong.... It's just hard to see how someone like her wasn't one of the people to make it off the island, because she has the qualities, that miss, mary-sue Kate doesn't have... common sense and a brain.

You know now that I think about it, being dead probably works out better for her. All the dead characters still return to the show so she could still make appearances whenever and work on her movies.

Yes it's true. Couldn't before now, but since she mentioned it herself in an interview yesterday then obviously now I can confirm her confirmation, lol.

She'll be filming it very very soon. Don't want to say specifically when so there's no paparazzi hunt. ;) Exciting indeed though. Ana rocks.

I will only watch the epi she's in. I stopped watching it after Season 3 Ep1 but, I love Ana so of course I will watch it.
