Hmm...that would be interesting! And probably the only thing that would get me to see a Tom Cruise movie anymore.
myppe - July 23, 2008 05:01 PM (GMT)
erk Tom Cruise..I don't like him
Leigh - July 23, 2008 08:38 PM (GMT)
According to both Paramount and Tom Cruise, it's a bunch of bs:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25804362/That being said, the one to "confirm" it was Access Hollywood and they don't have a good track record in my book given their whole "Rodriguez is in Hawaii for a Return to Lost!" headline last year with a picture of a woman who was NOT Michelle, lol. So just to be 100% sure, I'll find out.

That would be kinda cool. Tom Cruise and Michelle in a movie together, even if he is coco bananas.
Lost Angel - July 23, 2008 08:58 PM (GMT)
^Yeah. I hope its true, just because it would be another step up, another movie and it's Tom Cruise....even though he sometimes scares me with his weirdness, he's not a pyscho though, he's just a little bit mad. :P
Anyone remember when Michelle was on Jay Leno and Tom Cruise was on aswell, im sure that's the show where he did the famous couch jumping, just....LOL!

For everybody's criticism of him, I still don't have any problem watching him at all. He's a really great actor and a brilliant creator/producer. If you judge him professionally, there's no room for any real criticism. It's sad that the public's views on his personal life and religion have polluted what was a phenomenal and nearly unmatched career. The fact that the American public was so quick to throw him away despite all he's achieved and made for our entertainment just goes to show how fickle the public is and how no celebrity nor entertainer is safe from having their world turned upside down over things that have nothing whatsoever to do with their professional career.
I may not be a scientology fan, I may not agree with all of his personal views, but I seperate the person from the actor as long as the person is not doing anything that hurts anybody else. As a person, he seems like a genuinely nice guy. As an actor, he's pretty damn great, and as a producer/professional, he's amazing.
Anyway the only thing I personally could imagine being badass for he and Michelle to do together would be a Mission Impossible 4, only b/c the action/stunts in those films are absolutely sick, and Michelle is pretty much the only actress in Hollywood I could imagine being willing to match Cruise stunt for stunt (since he does all of his own in those films). Whether or not they'd let her, who knows, lol. Anyway only time will tell what role is in Michelle's future. In the meantime I'll get a yay or nay on this Top Gun 2 jazz once and for all. Check back.

He seems like a genuinely nice guy, great husband and father....great actor. The only time i ever thought he was out of line was when he publicly critisized Brooke Shields on a tv show about relying on drugs for postnatal depression. That's old news anyway, he apoligized and Tom made up with Brooke, so he seems cool.
Apart from John Travolta and his wife, he's definetley the reason why Scientology is out there, with the other religions. I really dont know if its a worthy religion or just one that brainwashes you, think members have to give money monthly or something, whats what i read anyway. Really dont know what to make of Scientology.

It'd be fantastic to see them work together. He's really very good at what he does, he really applies himself....puts his best out there. And he comes out on top....movie wise anyways.
He's a little loopy yes....the whole Oprah/couch jumping tidbit....I thought it was funny. Others critizied it a lil too much I think.
Who really cares though.....he's a great actor, you watch his movies then afterwards go...whoa...that was the shit.
His religion.....is his religion....his business, even though he puts it out there.
His personal life....the drama....his quirkiness dosen't outshine his artistic ability...not by a long shot.
Can you imagine them together though....she could so kick his ass....make him sweat.
Lost Angel - July 23, 2008 09:26 PM (GMT)
He jumped Oprah's couch...i remember that, im sure he jumped Leno's aswell though. Gawd, he's one happy dude! :)
karikocha - July 23, 2008 09:29 PM (GMT)
He sure is....like he'd hug the hell outta you everytime he saw you.
I really like him though. Seems like a very genuine person...besides...he's hot. Or was hot...like in the mission impossible movies.....meow.
Lost Angel - July 23, 2008 09:34 PM (GMT)
Tom seemed cool when Michelle had her interview on Leno, he seemed so intrested and cool in everything she had to say, even when she was talking about her time in jail, lol! He does seem sweet.
rosedragon - July 23, 2008 09:52 PM (GMT)
Hell yeah i would love this to happen. If it does I want to thank jay leno for hooking them up.. He did suggest cruise that michelle should be his nemeses
karikocha - July 23, 2008 10:04 PM (GMT)
^^I know.....that'd be awsome....she could so hand his ass to him.
Goof-Goof - July 23, 2008 10:08 PM (GMT)
But if she is the bad guy, doesn't that mean she would likely die in the movie?
That would suck very much. Don't cha think?
karikocha - July 23, 2008 10:09 PM (GMT)
She could inbetween.....not so good...not so bad...
Nakita1031 - July 23, 2008 11:11 PM (GMT)
I like Tom Cruise. He's about 16 fries short of a happy meal but yes, he is still a good actor. He was so brilliant in Rain Man.
I personally would love to see another couch jumping episode of Oprah. I wish I was that head over heels! Dayum! lol
Leigh - July 23, 2008 11:51 PM (GMT)
Isn't it kind of sad though that we find an expression of sheer happiness like that to be disturbing? What does that say about us as a society that when someone literally jumps for joy we call them crazy.
Maybe if we were all jumpin on couches saying "I'm in love!" the world wouldn't be quite so f*cked up. Just sayin'.
*shrugs*

It's not the world that's f'd up. It's the people in it.
