Title: Sex and the City, The Movie
Lost Angel - May 26, 2008 02:04 PM (GMT)
Any Sex and City fans?
I'll admit, ive only caught bits and pieces of the show since it finished, i have dvds though that i dont touch, i just catch bits on tv. I think DH took over from when SATC left, but i still love the girls and im glad they finally made the movie.
2 more days and then i can see this! :D

I love Sex and the City. Have seen every episode, more than once. It's just such a good programme. The Carrie/Big saga got a little annoying at times, and I still maintain she should have ended up with Aiden, but then his son in that episode was adorable.
Charlotte and Harry are so cute together. I only started to like her in the final two seasons. Before that she was annoying and the storyline with Trey was boring. Miranda is a sweetheart and I have so much respect for Cynthia Nixon. She has handled her battle with breast cancer in a dignified and strong manner. :) And then Samantha. She is my favourite. Kym Cattrall is a legend and I simply adore her outspokeness. Samantha and Smith are brilliant together.
I just love this programme. Can't wait until I see the film, though I have heard a few rumours and it's made me a little  about what might happen to my favourite characters.

I loved the show so i'll try to go see it. I'm so happy Kim decided to do it,no one is as fun as Samantha.

The film was so so good. Although Carrie's storyline was a little predictable at times, it was helped by the other three. I officially love Charlotte, she is brilliant. The thing with the film was that it felt like a season in a movie, which i saw as a positive. Plus, one highlight was the fashion. I loved the dresses she tried on for the Vogue shoot. Simply stunning. Just a really enjoyable, funny and heartwarming movie.

I am sensing you don't like it. Why not? And if you don't like it so much, why bother posting here? Oh, and it's 'Sex AND The City' not 'in the City'

I saw it the day it came out, or rather night. Wasn't planning on going until a week passed when some of the hype went down, but 12:30 cam rolling and on a whim we went to see the late show. Even at 12:30 that theater was packed to the high heavens.
As for the movie.
I laughed, I cried, and laughed and cried some more. Really great movie, I wouldn't change one thing really, well one minor thing, and I'm sure everyone else might agree if they're a Samantha fan. Other then that, I'm dying to go see it again before it leaves theaters.

Oooh, I totally agree. Why Sam, why??? That was just wrong.
Lost Angel - June 18, 2008 04:44 PM (GMT)
Im gonna see this for the 3rd time this week, and no, not bored of it, considering its 2 hours and 20 mins long.
I wasnt happy at seeing Samantha on her own, but she did have her girls around her at the end on her birthday. Loved the Sushi scene. ;) :P
Oh and, Charlotte, i love her, how kooky can she get. :D I cried with laughter both times at THAT scene!
Everyone in the cinema kept going crazy with laughter, thats what i love. :)
Its such a chick flick, anyone who hasnt seen it, its a must!

My Boo Actually Dragged me to this movie and hes a dude!...lol..
It was the longest sit through of my life. I kept asking him through out the movie "Are you serious"? he kept laughing. For the most part is was a good movie. I do think they need to up there plots up a bit though, It was so predictable.
Loved the outfits and shoes..
The lil girl lilly is so adorable!

See, i realise this would throw off the dynamic of the show, but it would be great to have a sequel without Carrie. I've been watching re-runs and I've confirmed it, Carrie is my least favourite. However, I will be watching the sequel as Charlotte and her family are adorable and Samantha is brilliant, those two reasons alone will see my bum on a seat. :)
Lost Angel - November 8, 2008 07:46 PM (GMT)
I could not imagine a sequel without SJP! LOVE that girl's style, LOVE Carrie, hypethitcally if she wasnt in it, i wouldnt see it, just because the dynamic would be different. But i'd be the same with Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda. All 4 or nothing. :)
Considering how good the 1st was, i have high expectations for the 2nd. Gotta love Kim Cattrall for looking so effin' amazing at 52! Samantha's still the star of that show. ;)

THAT'S AN EFFING CAR PAYMENT!!!!
I can NOT wrap my brain around EVER spending that kind of money for a PURSE. Even if I were a billionaire. I would never. No way. That's insane.
