Hey, so I'm not one of those mods who's gonna be a you know what and make you feel stupid for not knowing the rules or for asking questions over and over. I want to help in any way that I can, but I still thought I'd lay it out here for ya to check out. If there's anything I didn't cover, feel free to start a new thread in this Help section and I'll try to help as soon as possible.

1. How do I change my avatar?
1. Near the top right of your screen theres a link that says 'My Controls' click it.
2. On the left under Personal Profile there's link that says 'Edit Avatar Settings' click it.
3. You should see where it says "Your image avatars". Here you can either enter the url of the image, or else upload a pic from your computer.

2. Where can I find an avatars to use?
Here's 2 links to some avs I've made:

....and you can request one be made from any pic (doesn't have to be Michelle related if you don't want it to be of course) here. There's also some more that I've made displayed there as well:

3. What size avatar and signatures are allowed?
Avatars: No bigger than 100x100 px.
Signatures: Pic is to be no bigger than 400x100 px. You may also include up to 3 lines of SIZE 1 text or less in your signature above or below your pic if you'd like.

4. My avatar/sig pic isn't showing up/working. What gives?
Are you hosting it with imageshack? Usually that's the problem. You need to host it somewhere where you can directly link to the actual pic, not the page it's located on (like imageshack does). Try uploading it somewhere else and linking it. If it won't allow you to upload it directly from your computer still, it may be the image type. Try converting it to .jpg or .gif (no animated gifs as avatars though, sorry).

Also, you need to make sure you have image tags into your code. These are image tages (NOTE: you have to removed the 2*s. I only put them there so the tag would show up):
[*IMG]insert url of image here[*/IMG]

5. Why does my avatar look odd (stretched or shrinked)?
Make sure under "Edit Avatar Settings" you have the actual size dimensions of your avatar. Just b/c the avatar has to be 100x100 or small doesn't mean that's what you have to put. Whatever the size YOUR pic is, put the dimensions in there.

6. Are you Michelle? Do you know her? Has she ever visited this site? Has she ever posted on these boards?
No. Sort of now, yeah. Yes! Not yet....but hopefully soon. :D

Anything I missed? Start a new thread or PM me, whichever you'd like....and I'll be glad to help. :)
