Brett Favre announced his retirement today. So sad. It's like the end of an era. Most people my age can't even remember the Pack ever having a different QB. He's a classy guy, great QB and has been through a lot and managed to stand the test of time. I wish him the best of luck...and hope he gets some well needed rest and relaxation.

It sucks that he couldn't go out on top, but that still doesn't detract from the greatness of his career (and persona).

Did anyone else see his press conference today? OH MY GOD. I had it on at the bar, and grown men were crying! And he/they were making ME cry! Lol.

Aw Brett. What a total class act. He rocks. He went out the way he should. On his terms. He said that it wasn't that he couldn't play anymore, it's that he just didn't want to play anymore. And if he had stayed without his heart being in it anymore, he would have let himself and his team mates and fans down. Aww.

We'll miss you Brett!!! :)

My family love out in WI. Me too. I never was a pack fans. I was actually kind of happy that he retired but at the same time, it is be going to be really weird not to see him play anymore since all the years I see him play and make a great plays out there.
