Just thought that if the long threads for Lost and Dotty got new threads, Sana needs one too ^^ If this was some form of trust from the mods (that we won't keep the longest thread forever ;-)) - thanks :D And we trust the mods here too, 'cause the archives aren't deleted ;) (*cough* and on LF for some reason only Sana archives were using too much resources when they were 1 month old, 3 years old Skate archives that don't even have fics and theories are fine *cough* ;))

And that? That Skate won't be happy, pssht, that was obvious. As I said, Skaterbots are even kinda batter together than separately because in theory they take less screentime if they're together, LOL, in practice not even that, so it's not like I care either way when it comes to S3 - but it was obvious since the beginning of S3 that the bots were created only to give Skaters the visuals (even the E! (s)Kristin and her enthusiasm for naked Skate was practically confirming that) and to go back to the triangle that died by the end of S2. Died so completely that there was no way of coming back to it if the characters didn't go OOC, and I can't figure out why they even WANTED TO come back and it was their biggest pride and still is. After S2 there was time for Jate (interaction, I'm no Jater, friendship or romance, I don't care - but it started to get fascinating character-wise and maybe Kate would finally grow up because she almost started to) and for Sawyer exploring the new level of his darkness (not mourning Ana though, at least not the way a normal person would do it :-P I'd really see him sleeping with everyone there for example... just being Sawyer, more S1 Sawyer than S2 Sawyer) and growing too (PERFECT situation for the symbolism that's been helping everyone and once helped Sawyer with the boar/the wrong guy, now it was Michael and the right guy - bringing him on the Island throws away everything every character has been through because they didn't have everything brought to the Island literally!), and for the Jawyer relationship to grow. Period.
*deep breath after saying all this* ;-) LOL!

And how I LOVE the scene with Jack's dad too. They already could connect when something was more important than petty fights, then Ana brought them even closer. Gah, where are the two mature guys? Sure, Sawyer was playing a preschool game (which was "against" Jack but also more against Kate than for Kate), but he wasn't on preschool level, it was his tool to be more hated and to have some fun conning... When something deeper came along, it didn't matter, and Kate was Jack's anyway. And Jack in S3 isn't really such a bot, but he can act like an emo teenager too often for his character, he also forgot that Sawyer would do a lot for him, it's the only time that made me want to kick Jack *kicks Jackbot instead*

I figured it out. It's because you all started a new thread but you didn't need one! So L close the original Sana thread.

Anyway, just so you guys know, if a thread has a specific amount of posts, (there are a few with exceptions) Jen, Leigh or I will then close it and then re-open a new one with the number of how many of the subject; example sana, in brackets. ie: Sana (2). We don't just close threads for the hell of it. It's just easier to keep track of things. The closed thread goes in the Archives where we keep everything. It's like Monica's secret closet in friends :P Anyway I just wanted to clear that up, because if you felt that this is some sort of competetion or anything, it's not, it's not like because I love Dotty I opened a new thread. It's just part of the rules for us to follow so that the board is all nice and clean :)

So I'm not mad or anything, I was just wondering who closed it and why and how come theres a new one because I was doing a fast clean up the other night and thought I just missed it, anyhow, that's done. Carry on!

Awwww Chica, that's EXACTLY what I and we all meant! :) Sana thread was much longer than both Lost and Dotty so I finally thought "Oops, we're using up the resources and the mod trust for way too long" and I did what we did on Lost-Forum. There it was our resposibility to always start a new thread with new number after the last one hit 100 pages, which was about every 2 weeks (later it was 50 pages) and mods just closed the old one everytime. Here Sana was already 150 pages long which was about the longest thread on the whole forum, not just this section. Well, later on LF we got "rewarded" with having our all threads deleted from the archives, as the only ship, but yeah, here no one is against Sanateers so we were not afraid :D (The Sana (2) was mine, Leigh didn't correct it btw, I know how it works :))

Don't worry about that Silly! That's my job lol, it helps us keep track of things that way. Or else we'll have the "Why theres a new Sana thread when the other one isn't closed yet" and once we discover that neither of us had anything to do with it, it confuses me.

As a member here, your only responsibility is to follow the normal rules. If it happens again, just PM a mod to let us know or something. That way we can keep track of what's being closed/re-opened and then someone can move the dead thread where it belongs. Don't worry about things like that!

Geez nikky if you wanted to be a mod so badly and take care of threads yourself could've just told me! :P

Totally random - it's funny how anyone thinks that actors quotes mean anything, and how both Skaters and Jaters quote stuff that was really said but completely contradicting. The actors say what the producers want to promote, and in S3 the producers want to promote what the fans want, so actors make fools of themselves ;-) And Sana never sold well (not that the writers cared back then *sigh for the times when they were doing their thing, and I don't mean Sana, I mostly mean S1*) so no actor currently on the show said anything positive about it - but Michelle did, at least twice, once when she was just casted and later when she left! About it making so much more sense than Jana, about it being eye-opening... And when she was on the show she played a real character on a great show, not a soap opera character whose sole purpose is to have multiple romantic connections, so she wasn't talking ship stuff, fortunately, wouldn't it be painful to hear even if it meant hearing stuff positive for Sana? ;-)

More random - if it was a "smurf" as some like to put it in a cultural way, what was this and why it changed after all of the joking when Ana couldn't see his face anymore - my guess is that Josh is either a really crappy actor or his wife should smack him 'cause he was crushed that he won't be practicing with Michelle anymore ;-)

(... it's so darn beautiful 'cause Ana did exactly the same after the "you married" scene, when he couldn't see her anymore she changed her expression from ironic to smiling to herself <333)

Totally agree with you. Fics are great but don't compare to how the real writers wrote it. The banter, the distance, the fights, and then of course the jungle loving! Awesomeness. I do wish Ana hadn't been killed because not only for the obvious reasons but the fact is that it ended up bringing on all the bots!

That is funny. He would be so much better than the wussy "I love you" Sawyer that was created in season 3. It would be great to see that. I actually wouldn't even mind him comforting Claire and seeing some Conmama. Even though Claire isn't my favorite, she would be much better than KAte for the rebounding and hurting Sawyer!

WOW! You stated it so perfectly. The men all did go to Ana because they realized she could help them and get the job accomplished. You're right that her scenes were terrific and awesome. She really got me into Lost and her few scenes sealed the deal! Season 2 was terrific and so well-written.

YEP! Nodding head. Sana got better and Jate will too!

Aw, definitely! What's interesting is that Claire was the only person Sawyer truly respected (to the point of getting shy and stuttering - twice :D) who didn't even do anything to earn his respect - Ana was the other one, but she earned his respect (and EVERYONE else's), quickly, but she still had to do it. I like the theory that she reminded him of his mother and it makes sense...
But now, Sawyerbot and the "stand still and look pretty" Clairebot? *drowns them* Sure would better than Skaterbots (cleaner! LOL), but would still be as lacking of any strong personalities as possible... not to mention real characters, that seems to be too much to wish for ;)

Exactly! I was just thinking today how fantastic (and sad) was the contrast between how the main Losties lived and how the Tailies did, and how the Tailies later had to leave the beach and all... And now they erase the freakin' flawless and very important Tailies story (rafties? balloon? Henry -> gun -> Michael? uh, hello?) from any recaps, sheesh.
