I'm going to still finish My one true love, but I had this on my mind for awhile. I don't own anything of SWAT. This is a rated R fic. This is a sanchez fic.


Chapter 1


It was just another day for me. It's been one years since the Montel mission, and Boxer was back on the team. Jim and I have become even closer friends. We were all sitting around in the break room waiting for Hondo.


Just when I thought my day couldn't be more boring, Captain fuller walked in. " Sanchez can I see you?" he asked. " Yeah." I say with a sigh. Oh my god I hate this guy. Jim notices my facial expression. " Stay calm Chris, he does this to everyone." He says. Like I didn't know that.

I walk outside and see Fuller leaning against the wall. " Hows it going Sanchez?" He asks. " Fine." I reply dryly. " Look I know I've been a dick to you since you came here, but I think you are doing really well, and I am happy to see the commitment you have for SWAT." He says.

Wow a compliment. That must have been hard to give. " Thanks." I say. He nods and walks away. I shrug and walk back into the break room to see Hondo sitting at his desk smiling at me. " What?" I ask. I hate people starring at me like that. " You were calm with Fuller, I guess your going soft Sanchez." He says laughing. " Fuck you." I reply. He only laughs harder. " Ok we have an assignment today, and its a dangerous one." He stares off.

I sit down next to Jim and look to Hondo. " We've been tipped off that a bank will be getting robbed on 1st avenue. Deke you and Boxer will be covering the back and waiting for me to tell you what to do next, Street, you will be on the roof, and Sanchez.... Fuller wants to be there for the bust, so you will be covering him." He finishes with a smile directed at me.

I wanted to scream. Why me? Of all the team's members I have to protect the most self centered man I've ever met. " Ok lets mount up!" He says. We scramble for our gear and head to the truck. I share a look with Jim as he heads the other way for the chopper. This was the first mission that we've not been partners.

Sanchez 'covering Fuller' that's funny, don't really like the guy he's a prick. Anyways I like where your going with this, really enjoy your writing...keep it up!! ;)

Chapter 2

We arrived at the bank, but we were to late. The bank was already being robbed. My team follow Hondo's orders and I stood next to Fuller.


I wanted to be helping my team, but no I have to cover this asshole. I heard a snicker escape Fuller " Don't worry Sanchez...you'll have a chance to help them next time." he said. I didn't reply.


I heard shooting coming from inside the bank. I pushed Fuller behind the SWAT truck so that no strays could possibly hit him.

I might hate him, but I don't want to see him dead. Hondo walked over to us and smiled at me. " How is your job and (cough) temper (cough) going?" he says with a laugh. " Just peachy sir asshole sir." I reply. He walks off laughing.


I look at Fuller and see he actually found that scene to be humorous, because he was smiling. " Your something else Sanchez." he says still smiling. " Yeah and thats why they love me." I say sarcasticly. " I find it funny, and I think your right." he says. " What?" I ask. Why is he being so cool towards me lately. " Thats why they love you, your one of a kind." He says matter of factly. I roll my eyes, which earns me another smile from Fuller.

Fuller's POV

I don't know why, but over the last year I've gotten really attached to Sanchez. I may have not wanted her on SWAT, but the reason is that I didn't want to see her get hurt.

When we heard shots being fired she pushed me behind the truck. She was studying the situation so I took the time to give her a once over. She was very good looking. I sometimes sat at the breakroom window to watch her train.

I was fascinated that a woman could be so strong yet beautiful at the same time and not even try to be. Yeah she pisses me off sometimes with her good combacks, but she gets even more interesting when she throws one at me.

I really love seeing her with the guys. Its funny when they piss her off. She's cute when shes mad.

Even though she could probably knock me on my ass any day of the week. I don't think I protest to it. Wait what am I thinking. I'm like eight years older than her, but she's so....so..so sexy. What the hell.

okay now thats just kinda creepy.

This is not a Chris/Fuller fic. Hells to the no on that Idea. I just wanted to make him want her and know that she hates his guts. This is kind of a jim/chris fic, so don't worry. He just likes her is all. I mean really who wouldn't think Sanchez is sexy.

eewww Fuller is sooooo gross...your right she is hot. chris and jim mack a nice couple, even though i don't like fuller i like the way your writing this...can't wait for more keep up the good work B)

Chapter 3

Sanchez's POV


I look over at Fuller and see something very creepy. He is looking at my ass and is smilling. " Take a picture, you came cum on that." I growl. I swear he coulda jumped out of his skin.


He looked up to my eyes and looked like a deer caught in my headlight. Busted sicko. Thats why he's been so cool with me lately. EWWWWWW, he is like old enough to be my dad. I notice there isn't anymore shots being fired so I motion for Fuller to come out.

When I step out from behind the truck I see police officers laying dead infront of me. I look and see my team behind a car. " Sanchez GET BACK!!!" Jim yells. I suddenly feel a sharp pain ripe through my left shoulder. I fire in the direction it came and shove Fuller behind the truck just as another bullet hits me in the stomach.

Fuller's POV

I watch in horror when Sanchez gets hit in the gut.

I go to grab her but she shoves me backwards. She lets loose on the building. I look from behind as one suspect falls dead.

She yells as she is hit in the right arm. She fires at the shooter and he too falls dead. She takes another shot in the left thigh. " Oh my god!" I yell. " Hondo fire!" I command. I hear the shot before I see it.

The bullet cuts into her stomach just barely above the other bulletwound. She goes down on one knee and throws her now empty gun down and unholsters her 9mm and fires and the perp.


He goes down, but fires one more shot at Sanchez. " Sanchez!"

oh shit!!!! :o that did not just happen......hope she was wearin her vest. Dude you can not just leave it there...we need more!!! and as for fuller eewwwww gross

Chapter 4

Jim's POV


We are all sitting in the waiting room. Well I haven't been doing anything but pacing.

We've been here for 9 hours. Sanchez is alive, but barely. Fuller actually looked worse than me..... He was slumped over with his face in his hands.

We all heard him mumble to himself for the past hour," She was protecting me, I should have been shot not her." We all have never seen this side of Fuller before, but noone said anything.


We figured he was just worried about Chris. I couldn't keep my mind off of Sanchez, but what else was I supposed to think about. I can't loose her. I heard a sniff and looked over at the guys.

Deke, Boxer, and surprisingly Hondo were all red eyed, but they weren't the source of the noise. I frowned when I saw Fuller wipe his eyes.

What the hell has gotten in to him lately. Maybe he has feeling for Chris too.


Fuller's POV


I caused this. I was being a perv and distracted her.

I feel like I'm dieing with worry. I know now that my feelings for her are that of a friend's. I keep seeing her get shot over and over in my mind and I can't take it.


Just then the doctor walk in. " Ok, officer Sanchez is going to make it." he says with a smile. I actually jump out of my chair and yell" YA!!!". All eyes turn to me. " What you guys aren't happy?" I ask. " No...its just.......your Fuller." Jim says. " Last time I checked I was, but thanks for reminding me." I reply. What a dumb ass.


" One person at a time can see her now, but be quiet she needs rest, and she won't be awake for maybe a day or so." The doctor says. Jim goes first.

Jim's POV


I walk into Chris's room and I am shocked by the sight. She is hooked up to more tubes than I care to count.

She looks so pale, but she's alive and thats all that matters. I just knew she would make it. She's a fighter. I take her strong yet small hand in mine and kiss it gently.

I look to her beautiful face and plant a kiss on her forehead so gently she wouldn't feel it if she was just sleeping. " Get better precious, I need you by my side." I say.

I swallow and continue. " When we are on missions I am never scared with you next to me. You are my reason to fight. I love you." I say and lay her hand back down softly.


I walk to the door and look over my soulder, and take one last look at the fierce beauty before walking out.

aawwwwww....jim is so cute. loved this chapter, better be writng the next one.

Chapter 5


Fuller's POV



The team had made their trip into Chris' room one by one. It was now my turn. I looked at Jim who had a solem look on his face.

I neared her door and prepared myself. I opened the door and closed it before I looked toward the bed.

I was so ashamed of what I caused. ' Yeah nice work, the one person I was growing to like was hanging on to life by a thread, way to go' I thought. I couldn't walk any closer to the bed because it was just too real. " I'm sorry, Chris." I say, and walk out.


I ignore the looks the team gives me and walk out of the hospital. I get in my car and drive away.

Jim's POV


I don't blame Fuller for leaving. The situation was abviously getting to him.


I looked at the team and saw how tired they looked. " Lets go home guys." I say. I want to stay here and look after Chris, but I'm so tired and I know the hospital will call Hondo if she wakes or something is wrong.


I know he'd call us all right after. We left the hospital, and headed out. I drove back to my place and parked. I could already hear my girl barking her head off.


I open the door and get knocked on my ass by the ton of bricks.

" Hey Roxy, hows my big girl yesssss." I say lovingly and scratch her itchy spots. She licks my face and I walk into my house. I shower and get into bed feeling like shit.


I go to sleep thinking about the dark beauty, that just survived six bullets.

Nice story. I am such a Chris/Jim shipper . . . I've rediscovered my love of the SWAT movie in the last week and can't get enough fics. Too bad there aren't that many of them! :)
