Alrighty, first part!
“Why is the door locked?” someone called from outside of the room and the two of us immediately stopped what we were doing to glance at the door. JD sat up and blindly searched for the lamp beside us.
“Because it’s my room!” he called, finally finding the small lamp. He clicked it on within seconds, it’s dim light casting over a little area of his bed.
There was a sigh let out from the other side of the door, followed by the sound of the handle jiggling. “Yes, and it’s mine, too,” Kaplan grunted from outside the door, still shaking the handle. “Rain can get out…”
“Who said Rain was in here?” He smirked and slid himself to the end of the bed, throwing his feet to the floor. Slowly, he began to collect his clothes off the floor, sliding on his pants and things first.
I tugged the sheet around my body, brushing away the dark hair that was falling in my eyes. “Because you only lock the door if Rain’s in the room. Why don’t you guys do this in Rain’s room,” the timid one murmured, giving up on trying to turn the handle.
Once he had his pants on, JD finally unlocked the door and let the poor guy in. He also turned on the light, something I had expected so I nearly went blind. “I like to travel,” I finally responded as he wandered past JD’s bed, looking on to other things.
Although I didn’t care if he saw me, he was still very cautious about seeing me naked or exposed in any way. “Besides, that other girl’s always in there and she doesn’t appreciate JD being in there.”
Kaplan laughed for a moment, collecting a few papers that were scattered across the room. “Sometimes I don’t appreciate him I here…” We had all been housed in one building because our specific group was undergoing some more training. We were the select few good enough for an elite tactics force.
I was just happy that I had been put in the same building as JD. Soon enough, Kaplan collected what he needed, calling JD aside to speak with him. The door closed and I was left by myself for the moment. This gave me enough time to get my clothes back on,
I leapt from the bed, scrambling around for the random garments I left scattered around the room.
The three of us were part of Umbrella, a corporation that created health and beauty products as well as security systems. That was just a few things they offered to the public. Of course, all of us working for Umbrella knew that it was much more than that.
They did illegal experimentation and biological research. I’ve never seen any of it myself, but I know it exists. I was one of those workers that was hired to contain their secrets.
The door clicked open just as I buckled my belt, revealing JD once more. “Damn, you’re already dressed,” he joked as I rolled my eyes, tugging my hair back into a tight ponytail. “Kaplan’s got some big thing due for his training today. I don’t believe he’s nearly finished with his program…”
“I can… He’s a friggin genius,” I responded, placing my hand on his shoulder and pulling him over in my direction. “You’re always slacking at your work.” A smirk came to his face after he kissed me on the forehead, heading back to the door.
He leaned against it for a moment, giving me that same sly grin. “Yes, and it’s your fault.” I rolled my dark eyes, shaking my head. A few loose strands of hair fell in my face, but I quickly blew them away. “Yes, and it’s also you’re fault that I’m late for my next training operation.” He winked and head out the door, closing it gently behind him.
We met about a year ago when I first started working for Umbrella. He was my instructor when it came to working with guns, even though I’ve had previous training on a S.W.A.T. team and in the Nay Seals. I was kicked out of both, though, for being reckless, they said.
JD, what an amazing man. He was excellent at his job, but also a very decent person, and that says a lot coming from me. I learned the hard way never to trust guys because eventually, they just screw you over. But something was different about him and he showed it well in the past year that we’ve known each other.
I headed out of the room, not intending to go back to mine. Since both Kaplan and JD were off to their training and I didn’t have to do mine for another few days, I had nothing to do what so ever. “This sucks,” I muttered to absolutely no one, closing the door behind me.
I saw a girl give me a sick glance from down the hall as I left JD’s room. I don’t know why she looked at me this way, maybe because she thought I was a whore. Don’t see how I could be a whore figuring he’s the one person I’ve been with for a while. He’s the one person I want to stay with for a while. Shaking my head, I ignored her glance and headed down the opposite end of the hallway.

Chapter Two
Later that evening I was at the shooting range brushing up on my sniping skills. JD was good, but I was hoping to be better. Firing my gun, I managed to shoot the shoulder of the target. I was off today because too many things were on my mind. It was mainly him. It was always him.
What were we going to do? We had been dating for somewhere around ten months now, nearly a year, but the most we ever do is hang out in his room fooling around. Sure, all that was great, but there was so much more that I wanted to do with him. Beyond the physical, but I never actually had the guts to tell him that I loved him.
The wind blew wildly for a moment, sweeping past me in a cold chill. I shivered because, for lack of better judgment, I had worn nothing but boots, a pair of pants, and a tank top. “My god, it’s cold,” I murmured, lowering my gun.
There was a pair of hands suddenly against my hips and from behind I could feel something warm blowing on my neck. “Don’t hit me,” JD murmured and I could tell that he was smirking just in his tone. One time he snuck up on me while I was practicing and I turned around and elbowed him in the jaw.
“What are you doing here?” I questioned, turning around to face him after setting my gun on the ground. He shrugged and I glanced to my watch. Apparently I had been practicing a lot longer than I thought. “You’re already finished, I guess…”
“Yeah, you want to go out tonight?” he questioned, forcing my hips to sway slightly before bringing me close to him. “I don’t have to be anywhere tomorrow and neither do you, right?”
Once again, I ended up in JD’s room late at night. Poor Kaplan decided to find somewhere else to sleep, but he told me he didn’t mind. He had other things to do. That seemed odd to me because the man never got out much besides his classes and training.
Regardless, I was alone with JD, lying in his bed. We weren’t doing anything but lying there in the darkness. My back was pressed against his bare chest, his arm wrapped over my body, helping me keep warm. Maybe I should have just kept my clothes on, but something about lying there naked with him felt good, even if we weren’t fooling around.
His body was warm, at least compared to mine. He often told me my fingers felt like ice, so I would tease him and always run them down his back. He hated that. It drove him wild, but it made me laugh.
His lips rested against the back of my neck, blowing inviting sighs against my skin. He was unusually quiet, which was fine. But I could tell he was thinking about things. “JD, what’s wrong?” I questioned slowly at first, keeping perfectly still against his form.
“Nothing,” he was quick to respond, a tinge of nervousness in his accent. I immediately picked up on it. He thinks after ten months I wouldn’t realize when he wasn’t well. “Okay, so maybe something…” he corrected himself before I even had to say a word.
I remained still, wanting to press the matter but also ready to let him speak at his own pace. “I just get worried sometimes… that something’s going to happen…”
“What could happen? You mean with Umbrella?” I murmured, one of my hands tracing along the arm of his that was wrapped around my chest. I finally found his fingers, gently lacing them with my own.
“Well, sort of… what if we get sent on a mission and…” His last words trailed off against the back of my neck as a warm breath. I sighed myself, closing my eyes, opening them again once I felt one of his hands brush against my side. “I lose you…”
His lips pressed against the back of my neck and along my skin until he reached my shoulder, which he continued to kiss more tender than he ever had before. I felt in this moment that he cared for me more than I ever had been in my entire life. “That won’t happen.”
“But how do you know? They train us for some severe situations that could potentially kill us,” he remarked and I felt his hand squeeze my hip slightly. I turned on my side so that I was now facing him, the little light in the room giving his expression some sort of glow. He looked lost, confused, but above all, he was scared.
I shivered at feeling his hand move along my body until it brushed against my bare shoulder. He gave me a quick kiss and muttered, “Rain, I’m being serious here. I couldn’t stand losing someone I love…”
I grinned slightly, resting my forehead against his. He laid back against the pillow with a light sigh, staring up as I leaned over him. Strands of dead straight black hair fell into my face, but he was quick to tuck them behind my ears for me. "You know, I'm serious when I say I love you," he then stated, his deep eyes averting from me.
Smiling again, I leaned my weight on top of him, my elbows resting on either side of his head. "I thought you just had me around for the sex," I chuckled a bit, forcing him to laugh as well. But then he let out another sigh, like things had gone wrong. "What?"
"I just... I don't know... I shouldn't have said that," he murmured, his eyes still focused on everything besides me.
"Said what?"
"That I love you... because apparently you don't feel the same, but that's alright." He sounded let down, but he didn't know how I really felt. I never was good at telling emotions, but rather showing off this smugness about me. He was the only one who's gotten close to me, and even then I never told him too much.
Running my fingers over his forehead and then kissing it lightly, I rested my cheek against his shoulder. "JD... I get scared, too. I'm always afraid something will happen, but I try not to think about it..."
"And just because I... don't say it... doesn't mean I don't feel it. I'm just really bad at showing it," I murmured, becoming breathless as I spoke. His hand was tracing up the small of my back, making me shiver before I could get anything else out.
Propping myself up by my elbows, I stared down at him, bringing one of my hands to force him to look at me. "So... in short... I do love you, JD," I smiled, bringing my lips against his. I could feel him smiling as well before I leaned back to actually catch that grin.
"And the sex is good," he then joked and I playfully punched him in the shoulder.
"You jerk," I laughed, resting my body at his side. Wrapping an arm over his chest, I cuddled my head against his shoulder. We didn't do anything for the rest of the night except lie there until we fell asleep. That was alright, though, because it felt nice and he kept me warm.

Chapter Three
A loud buzzer sounded and JD nearly knocked the both of us out of bed in surprise. He picked his head up as I frantically searched for the lamp nearby. He crawled over me, scrambling around in search of his clothes. The siren continued as he search for the main light.
One got to it first when he opened the door and blinded us with harsh light. "You two are needed immediately," he muttered in a monotone voice. Even in situations like this, he seemed calm. It had to be a drill. "Where's Kaplan?"
"Right here, sir," the young man behind him called, almost drowned out by the siren. One left without another word, leaving JD and me rushing to get dressed.
Kaplan waited by the door until we were done and then we all headed to a small room down the hall. Once seated with another girl, our medic, and two other commandos, we watched intently as our leader entered the room. "There's been a lock down at the Hive," he stated, still seeming completely calm.
The Hive is where all the illegal things occured. It was hidden below the Spencer Mansion in the center of Racoon City. Millions of people worked there daily, some even lived underground.
No one knows about it besides Umbrella workers, though. "Something leaked and the Red Queen had a meltdown, killing all the workers inside."
My heart stopped for a moment and I almost felt the need to be sick. Killed everyone? "Some how the T-Virus escaped into the air vents and she felt the need to conceal everything. Our job is to shut her down completely."
"What good will that do?" one of the commandos questioned, leaning forward in his chair. JD and I exchanged glances, knowing better than to question One's motives. "We shut her down and then what?"
"And then the incident is sealed. There's no proof that it occured or that the Hive ever existed. Now suit up and meet outside. We're heading to Spencer Mansion." One left the room after the brief explanation and we leapt off without hesitation to get prepared.
I sat in the back of the SUV, eagerly glancing out the window. We were taking a backway to the Spencer Mansion as to not cause too much trouble in Racoon City. We also had to break into the mansion, mainly because the Red Queen attempted to seal off entrance there as well. Umbrella was just one big secret.
I was excited to go to the Hive. In the past year I've been in Umbrella, I've not once been to the Hive. The place where all those illegal experiments I was hired to protect were held. Now my time has come and I'm here to guard their big secret. Something about it was so thrilling.
JD didn't not feel the same, I could tell. He sat on the other end of the seat, also staring out the window. He was very calm and collected, his brown eyes staring blankly outside.
The two of us had learned not to be so affectionate when we were on our missions. It was important that we pay attention to our surroundings more than each other and our emotions. Sure, we still played around, though. It was hard not to.
I reached over and gently poked him in the side to get his attention. He looked over, his blank brown eyes now focused on me. "You ready?" I questioned with a seductive smirk. He grinned himself, shrugging slightly. He had been on missions like this before. Not so much that the Red Queen locked everyone off, but things involving the Red Queen. So, this was like a drill for him.
The SUV came to a sudden stop in a little wooded area outside the manion. This was place huge and only two people lived there. You think people in Racoon City would find that suspicious, but I guess they're all just morons. I stepped out of the vehicle, checking to make sure I had everything I needed.
We had to wear these ridiculous looking mask to protect ourselves. Since the T-virus had spread into the air vents, there was a possibility that we could have breathed it in. One crept along the side of the home to where a long hallway was.
Myself, I peeked into a window, seeing a beautiful woman wandering around. She was tall and slender and looked like she had no clue where she was. We all knew who she was, though. That was Alice, another Umbrella worker who was hired to live here under cover. She was an excellent fighter, but she looked so clueless now.
From the corner of my eye, I could see someone creeping behind her, following her as she went outside. It wasn't Spencer, though we had never seen the guy before. We all watched intently at his actions. Suddenly, though, One shouted, "Everyone in!"
JD, who was beside me, kicked open the window, shattering the glass. The two of us leapt through and I immediately grabbed a hold of the young man who was creeping around.
Handcuffing his hands behind his back, I forced him against the ground. "I'm a cop," he shouted as one of my fellow commandos picked up the badge and license.
I watched Kaplan run a search on the man as I forced the guy down. "He's not in the system," my friend stated and my eyes shot across the room where JD was, helping to open a door that looked like a mirrored wall. Once the man struggled beneath me, I remember what I was doing.
"You want me to take care of him?" I questioned, pointing the tip of my pistol to his temple.
"I just transferred. I'm probably not in the system!" the man called, now completely still. Once given the command, I could shoot him at any time.
One removed his mask, staring Alice in the eyes. I couldn't tell what they had talked about, but she looked scared which was very unlike her. "No. We'll take him with." The man in my grasp continued to flail after I took the gun from his head.
"No, you can't do that!" he exclaimed as I removed that hideous mask.
Leaning down so that my lips were against his ear, I murmured, "Blow me." Forcing him to his feet, I shoved him in the direction of the door JD opened earlier. After we were inside, it slowly sealed shut behind us.

Chapter Four
Soon enough we were on a train that would take us from the Spencer Mansion down to the core of the Hive. Unfortunately, power was down and we had no way of controlling it. I ducked into an open door at the bottom of the train in attempts to find some way to hot wire the stupid thing.
My feet hit the gravel surrounding the tracks as I immediately found wires to start connecting. Propping my flashlight in my mouth, I went to work on starting this thing up. As I so, though, I swear I heard something crawling around.
Ignoring it, I continued my job. Apparently they were making this a very simple job for me. I was nearly finished wiring the train when the noise grew worse. I kneeled down, peeking a little further below the train at some grating at the end of the tracks. It looked like it had been broken open, but nothing else could be seen.
With a shrug, I slid the flashlight into my pocket, standing up straight again. One more thing and this train was-
"Rawr!" JD growled, suddenly dropping over the side of the opening of the bottom of the train. I jumped as he chuckled, gently tickling at my sides. He was leaning over the edge, upside down.
I glanced back, rolling my eyes at his silly antics. I knew it wasn't going to be long before he was going to start goofing off on our mission. "Jumpy?" he grinned as I smiled, reaching over at a piece of metal that would get the train going.
Dropping it on a wire, it sparked and scared JD back into the train. I grinned and allowed him to tug me back up as the train finally took off.
Once back in the train, we began sealing all exits so that nothing could get in, and out few hostages couldn't get out. Not that either Alice or Matt, as I found that guys name was, were going to try and escape, but who knew. I heavy my body against a door, jerking the handle until it was securely in place. Everyone was staring, but I was being cautious.
Turning around, I noticed the two on the floor staring at me. I had met Alice before and she was a very stern, secretive woman. She had lost her memory, something to do with the Red Queens shut down. Poor bastard...
"How's that door?" One questioned with a grin, crossing his arms over his chest.
I glanced back at the metal barrier, then focusing on them. "It's sealed shut..."
JD wandered by, murmuring, "Let me try." He winked as I stepped aside. Always trying to one up me. I stood back as he shoved the handle a little more in place. Unfortunately for him, he was jerking the lock in the wrong direction.
The door flew open, revealing the body of Spencer, the other person who lived in the mansion. JD jumped, the held the guy until he completely fell to the floor. Whipping out a gun, he held it towards the guy because he obviously didn't recorgnize who it was.
I smiled, staring down at him. "Jumpy?" I questioned as JD gave me a half shaken and half irritated glance. He stepped out of the way to let the medic take care of Spencer, nudging me slightly in the side when he came to stand with me.
We wandered through the large place filled with empty office rooms. There was a fake view outside the window. It was somewhat depressing knowing that people actually worked down here.
We passed by a research room that was filled water. "This is no good," Kaplan grunted, tapping keys on the mini computer strapped to his wrist. "The main route to the queen is through these rooms."
There were holes in the glass. Apparently the glass was reinforced or it would have busted from the water pressure. "Rain, JD. See if there is another way through," One commanded, his eyes scanning the area.
The two of us nodded and headed down the slender hallway. All around us were sealed metal doors that probably needed a code to be opened. Even then, they didn't look like they would be opened. "This sucks," I grunted as we came to the last door in the hallway. "This place gives me the creeps..."
He smiled, over looking the hallway for any doors that we might have missed. "It's not like you to be scared," he muttered as I walked a bi before him. I stopped to wait for him to follow.
"Knowing that we're going to have to find another route worries me, especially since this place is going to seal shut in less than three hours with us in it or not." I felt his hand brush my dark braid off the back of my neck.
He kissed the bare skin, causing me to shiver slightly. "Don't worry. We'll make it out of here." He walked ahead back towards where everyone was standing to announce that there was no easy way to get through.
"There's a way through the dinning hall," Kaplan stated, closing his mini computer. He pointed to a door near the end of the hallway. "It's through there and down some stairs. That's what the map says." One nodded and signaled everyone to head out.
I took one last look at the water filled room. Sometimes it honestly scared me to know that there was a possibility that we wouldn't make it out. And if we were in any real danger, Umbrella wouldn't send backup.
Once in where the map said was a dinning hall, we found that it was definately not a place to eat. It was a huge room with creeping darkness. Pipes and wires littered the ground along with a seeping fog. There were also huge machines that looked like they contained something. What, we weren't sure.
"Dinning hall B. That's what it says on the map," Kaplan stated nervously, pointing it out on his mini computer. All aggitated eyes fell on him as he attempted to find another answer. He hated feeling like he was wrong.
JD wandered beside him, looking over his shoulder. "Maybe you're reading it wrong," he stated, shaking his head.
Matt glanced over, I noticed, with a casual smirk. "Or maybe Umbrella's covering up for something we weren't supposed to know." He seemed so sure about it, but then again, it was possible. Keeping secrets was one of Umbrella's strong points.
One signaled out commands. JD and I were to remain here, watching over the captive cop, while the rest of them went to the Red Queen's chamber. I propped myself up on one of the machines, resting my striker at my side.
Matt slouched to the ground, fidgeting with the handcuffs we had left him in. There was no telling what this guy was capable of or if he was even a cop at all. Our best bet was to keep him handcuffed. "Do you guys even know what's happened here."
"Do you work for Umbrella?" JD questioned, leaning back against the machine I was sitting on.
Matt shook his head. "No, but I-"
"Then it's not you business, " I grunted, slipping a knife from one of my pockets. He narrowed his eyes like he wanted to speak, but kept his mouth shut.

Chapter Five
JD glanced back as I used my knife like a nail file. "So, when we get out of here, you want to go out?" That gorgeous sly smirk came to his face as he nodded his head in my direction.
I shrugged, returning my eyes to my nails. "What do you mean? Like, to get something to eat or what?"
He leaned closer to me, licking his lower lip with that same grin. "I was thinking some dinner... Maybe rent a movie..." Leaning in a bit further, he whispered, "Possibly get a hotel so we're not interrupted..."
My eyes focused on Matt who was staring at the both of us. Kicking JD lightly, I reminded him that we weren't the only people in the area. The man on the floor shook his head with a harsh laugh. "You guys are sick."
"What, me and him?" I questioned, jumping off the machine with a loud thud from my boots. I grabbed my gun which had been set beside me.
"Yeah, you and the rest of Umbrella. Your technology kills a bunch of its own workers and you're keeping that a secret. That doesn't even phase you in the least?" His green eyes were narrowed in a passionate anger. I don't know why he was even here. Why some random cop would come to the mansion unless he knew the family, which I know he didn't.
None of this killing was in my hands and here he was acting like I caused it. I was just in charge of concealing it. Why was that any business of his?
Before I could counter his little argument, we heard a pang of metal on the floor, echoing through the room. "What was that?" my man questioned, glancing past me. The sound rang again and I aimed my gun before me.
"I don't know, but I'll find out," I murmured, slowly creeping away towards the source of the sound.
I turned past numerous metal containers and machines as the clanking sound continued. A gas container rolled across the floor before I glanced up to find a woman leaning against one of the machines.
Lowering my gun, I clipped it to my side and shouted," JD, we got a survivor!" I took quick steps toward her, gently placing my hand on her shoulder to hold her up. She seemed dizzy, wavering side to side. "It's all right, mam. We're going to get you-"
Suddenly she growled, biting the hand that I was using to hold her up. I tried shoving her away, but she had an extremely strong grip on me. Forcing me down to the ground, she hovered over me, growling like a mad dog. "JD! Help! Get this bitch off me before I snipe her ass!"
My man dashed in, grabbing her by the back of the shirt and heaving her to another part of the room. He helped me to my feet as I stared in shock at the gaping bite wound she had given me. "She bit me! She took a chunk clean right out of me!"
We only had seconds to react to that before the crazy bitch stood back up, slouching over slightly. JD cocked his pistol, aiming it in her direction. "Don't come any closer or I'll open fire," he warned, but apparently she didn't care to listen.
She crept closer with a low hiss and I now noticed the strange wounds on her body. They looked like bite marks as well, but much worse. JD saw that she wasn't going to back down, so as he promised, he shot her in the leg.
The bullet flew through her flesh and she slouched a little, still standing. Another bullet shot through her other leg and this time she glared with icy blue eyes. She lunged forward and JD shot off three bullets to her chest.
I wasn't eager to wait and see if she were standing, so I let out a few quick paced rounds of bullets from my striker. After a few seconds she went lying backwards into a heap of broken pipes and metal. JD stood in shock once the firing was over, murmuring, "I shot her five time... how was she still standing?"
I clipped my gun to my hip, tugging a bandage from one my pockets. "Bitch ain't standing now," I stated, struggling to get the stupid thing around my hand.

Chapter Six
Someone dashed up behind me and I was about to elbow them when I realized it was Kaplan. "What's with all the shooting," he questioned, taking deep breaths. Apparently he ran down here when he heard the gunfire.
"We found a survivor," I murmured, watching as the still hand cuffed Matt scooted past me. He kneeled on the ground, staring at the bloody the woman left behind.
I couldn't help but notice that only Spencer, Alice, and Kaplan had returned. The rest of my team wasn't there. "So you shot them?" Kaplan exclaimed, staring around in disbelief.
I shot him a dirt glance over my shoulder before returning to bandaging my wound. "She was crazed. She bit me," I grunted, finally tying off the gauze. It was still bleeding through the fabric, but that was all I had at the moment.
Matt and Alice kneeled over the blood on the floor, staring at it with cautious. "Look, it's coagulated," he stated as we immediately focused on the woman’s blood. "That's impossible..."
"How so?" Spencer questioned, coming to stand behind Alice.
Matt stood up, clenching his fist behind his back like he was hiding something. I didn't say anything about it because at this moment I was worried about my team and getting out of here. "Because blood only does that after you're dead..."
JD casually called me over. "Rain, she's gone," he murmured, his skin growing pale. I stared at the space where the woman had fallen. She was no where to be seen. "She couldn't have still been alive after that."
"We need to get out of here," Kaplan reminded us in a nervous tone. I glanced around, noticing that the remainder of the team still hadn't shown up.
"Nuh-uh! I'm not leaving until the rest of the team gets here," I stated, returning to the group. I watched Kaplan and Alice give each other nervous looks and he almost struggled for words.
"They... won't be getting here..." he muttered as I took a deep breath, replaying the message in my mind.
Won't be getting here? Did they leave them behind? Did something happen? "What the feck you talking about?" I exclaimed, dashing over and getting in his face. Before I could say anything else, JD shushed us all.
The sound of metal running against the floor came into our ears as we all glanced around cautiously. Everyone was silent, waiting to find the source of the sound. In front of us, a figure crept around the corner. It was a man with his leg twisted at the ankle. He dragged it and a steel axe with him.
To the left, another man appeared, wavering slightly as he walked. He hissed and groaned like the other woman, but what got me more is that he only had half a face. It was like part of his head got ripped off and he was still fucking standing.
Soon, more and more just like them appeared and we all stood in shock. They all had deformities that would have killed them instantly when they received them. There was no way these people could still be standing, and even worse, they were walking straight towards us.
"They're behind us!" Alice called as we whipped about, realizing that we had been surrounded by these deformed freaks. I turned around, immediately being attacked by the same woman I shot down before. There was only one way left to take her down. Holding her head I twisted it until her neck snapped and she fell tot he floor.
Turning my gun towards a group of them, I opened fire. The rest of my team stared, but then followed my example. All except Kaplan who was too much of a softie to take any action. "Stand back or I'll shoot!" he warned, his pistol trembling in his hands. The disfigured man before him kept walking. "I said stay back!" Finally, he shot the guy, but turned to find another way out.
"What the hell are these things?" JD called as he followed Kaplan to an elevator at the other side of the room. Spencer and I followed, Matt and Alice no where to be seen. I continued to fire at those chasing us.
It was no use, though. They seemed to absorb the bullets rather than get hurt. My gun clicked, informing that I had run out of bullets for that round. "crap!" I grunted, yanking out another round from my pocket. "I'm running out of ammo!" I screamed to anyone who cared.
Glancing over my shoulder, I watched Kaplan struggled with the code for the elevator. JD came up behind him, shoving him out of the way. "What's the code?" he shouted to our trembling friend who was now shooting off the freaks.
I turned back to what I was doing, seeing that a few more had come my way. This was fucking impossible. Nothing that we seemed to do worked. "9... 5... 2... 6.. feck!" Kaplan screen, causing my attention to avert back to them. Apparently someone couldn't remember the code.
"What is the code?" JD shouted again. I backed up because I didn't want to waste ammo on something that wasn't going to work. My best bet was to get away from them.
"9, 5, 2... 6, 7... 4, 8, 3!" he finally finished and I returned my gaze to the horrible things creeping for me. That's when I heard JD scream.

Chapter Seven
Turning around, I forgot about the freak chasing me when I laid eyes on the elevator that JD had just opened. It was full of these same demonic people and they were all pulling him in with no intent of letting go. "JD!" I screamed as I ran over, basically heaving myself against the people in the elevator.
I caught onto his hand as he kicked and screamed, trying to have these crazed people let him go. They hissed, holding him tightly and trying to pin him down. "Rain!" I heard him cry in a voice of desperation.
I could feel his hand slipping from my own, but that didn't stop me from shoving these nasty people out of my way. Suddenly one bit me in the arm and someone wrapped their arms around my waist. It was Spencer who grabbed me and right behind him was Kaplan.
Trying to shove them off as well, I pushed the people aside. Then JD let go of my hand as I watched him sink into the pit of people. Spencer tugged me from the elevator, smacking the close button of the doors. "No! No! JD!" I screamed, kicking to get out of his grasp.
The metal doors slid closed, locking him and the people inside. "Let me go! He's in there! We have to help!" But no matter how hard I squirmed, Spencer would not let go. I gave him a hard kick in the knee, forcing him to drop me.
But before I could run back and open the elevator, I felt Kaplan stop me by grabbing my arm. "You can't open that..." he stated, forcing my attention on the same stupid creatures that took my JD away. There were tons of them everywhere with no intent on dying or go away.
I shook violently, trying my hardest not to cry. But it seemed the harder I tried to suppress the tears, the harder it was to stay calm. I shook my head, nearly falling to the floor in shock.
What had gotten into these people? They were all the workers of Umbrella, which had supposedly died. They're all up walking and crazed as well. Cannibals, even, by the way they keep biting. And now they had JD. "We have to get to the Red Queen's chamber!" Kaplan announced, thinking of the only logical place to hide.
He was right. There was no way past all these freaks and we couldn't take the elevator, as much as I wanted to open it just to make sure JD really wasn't in there. It couldn't have happened... he's just not in there. I was tugged along towards the long entrance to the Red Queen's chamber.
We were forced to run because these guys were extremely fast. Once at the end of the hallway, when the three of us remaining were inside, Kaplan slammed the door and I sunk to the floor. "I can't fucking believe this," I cried, slamming my gun to the ground.
Spencer leaned against the wall as Kaplan slid down beside me. I was shaking, my hands trembling as the bite on my hand still bled. And now there was one of my arm. One I got from trying to save him. But I couldn't and now he wasn't here. It was the exact thing we were afraid of.
Kaplan's arm rested gently on my shoulder, but I was quick to shove it away. I didn't want his affection right now, regardless of if it were sweet or not. He was one of the ones who stopped me from saving JD. "Just don't touch me," I grunted, staring blankly at the ground.
What were these freaks? They couldn't seriously be the workers. Was this an experiment of Umbrella? Was this all planned? We were sent down here as another damn experiment? All these thoughts ran through my head, but one stuck out among them all. In my mind I kept reliving that one thing he said.
"I couldn’t stand losing someone I love…” And here I was without him.
"What the hell were those things?" Spencer questioned, trying to forget about the loud banging at the door. The things had chased us down here and with a dead end, we were going to be stuck here for a while.
Kaplan paced about, sighing loudly and wiping the sweat from his head. I sat on the floor, hunched over slightly. My knees were pressed to my chest, my head rested on top of them. For a while, I just wanted to forget I was even here.
But with all that pounding on the door from them, it was so hard to. As far as we knew, the three of us were the only survivors. Alice and Matt disappeared. Kaplan had yet to tell me what happened to One and the others. Something tells me those things got a hold of them.
And then JD... He really wasn't here. I had to keep looking up to just to make sure that I wasn't going crazy. He seriously was gone. I choked back a cry and swallowed hard as Kaplan finally decided to speak. "Isn't it obvious? The badges, the lab coats. Those people used to work here!"
"Everyone who works here is dead," I murmured, taking deep, heavy breaths. I shook my head, knowing that we were told numerous times that they were all dead.
Spencer gave me a glance from across the room. It wasn't worried or even shocked in the least bit. "Doesn't stop them from walking around," he grunted, staring at the door. The things had finally stopped pounding, but none of us were about to leave.
It was silent in the room for a moment and I heard Kaplan sit beside me again. He took a deep breath as I tried to calm my shaking. "I can't believe this..." I whispered under my breath, just wishing that JD was still here with us.
"We have to get out of here," Spencer muttered, just about ready to open the door until both Kaplan and I have him dirty glances. "Well, we can't stay in here forever."
He was beginning to cross my line. I didn't like him from the moment I met him and he was bugging me even more than now. "We have no ammo..."
"So," he remarked, crossing his arms.
I sprang to my feet, rushing over before us. "Those thing will fucking kill us!" I yelped, grabbing him by the collar of his shirt.
He shook his head, murmuring, "Don't take your anger out on my just because your man got killed."

Rain could still have made it to the next film surely. When them scientists apparently seem to open the whole thing up again, and they clearly get bitten, maybe rain was there to get bitten...then again..she was shot in the head an thats ho you kill em....ah well...they would have found her body first, but then they all died too, due to unleashing the zombies again, only on racoon city itself...i want rain back to put it straight. Michelle ejoyed playing her clearly...ah man:
Milla J: 'I thought we killed you once..?'
Michelle: 'Brawwwwwahahah'
good fiction, keep it up

i really liked this fic, i like all fics of rain bnut this is really good, although i wish u would've let rain (thouogh cool in the movie) cry out just fall to the floor and jsut cry becuz of the loss of JD, maybe it sounds like too soft , but still, i think it would've been good for her 2 cry, and for hwer to beat the livin crap outta kaplan for that last line " don't take your anger out on me just becuz ur man got killed"
let her live out her emotions and not keep them inside,, jsut an idea,
also iäm waitin impatiently for the follow up.
good one.
