It's not very long, just a little one shot i made today :) Hope you like it let me know what you think.

Moving house and Banana's

It was a hot sunny day on the island. Sawyer sat outside his shelter, an umbrella he had found in the unclaimed belongings fixed in the sand, the sun off his body. He felt cool. He was reading, his glasses slightly askew. The book was interesting. Not normally his type of book. He had found it in the hatch, some kind of angel book about the dead and paranormal and angels saving real peoples lives. Upon finding the book, something drew Sawyer to it. It was a load of bull, he thought to himself, but something attracted him to it. He couldn't say no. He had picked up the book and began the long trek back to the beach in the scorching hot sun. Now sitting lazily reading it under the shade of his umbrella he felt at peace, relaxed. The was until someone happened to go and stand directly in his light.

"An angel saved my life? You believe all that crap?" Sawyer glanced up from his book to see an amused Ana Lucia standing over him. A dimpled grin emerged on his face.

"For your information chica, this is actually very interesting. An' besides, it's something to read aint it? Whatda you want anyway?" The Latina still stood over him, an amused grin on her face.

"To be totally honest, I was looking to share your umbrella, I'm starting to burn, and it's too damb hot to stay inside. Whadya say cowboy?" The southerner stared at her in disbelievement, mouth slightly open.

"You come here, dis my damb book and then you wan' a favour. Well I don' think so chica." Ana grunted in annoyance and turned to leave.

"Oh fine then, but you annoy me and I'm throwing you right back out." She turned back to him, strolled over, and sat next to him in the shade.

"Ohh! Thank God!! So, have I ever told you how cute you look in glasses?" She asked trying to hide a grin.

"Very funny rambina. You wanna be thrown back out into the sun." She shook her head. "Then I'd advise you to quit it."

For several minutes the duo sat in silence. Sawyer had returned his attention back to his book. He couldn't read with her sitting there like that. Something was drawing him to her. He just wanted to take her in his arms, lead her into his shelter and have his way with her. God could he not do that. No way she would let him anyway. He was broken out of his trance by an extremely bored Ana-Lucia.

"So redneck. You got any food?" Sawyer glanced up at her. God did he want her. She was nothing like freckles. Freckles was boring compared to the girl sitting next to him now.

"What so i share my bachelor pad with you and now you want food? What do I look like a super market?" Ana grinned at him. She begged him with her eyes and in the end, he finally cracked.

"Fine." Leaning over to his side he opened the box next to him, bringing out a box full of fruit.

"Well don't you come prepared cowboy?" Hey threw some grapes her way.

"Shut up and eat sweetheart." Ana glared at him.

"What if I'm allergic to grapes?"

"Don't be stupid. I know your not allergic to grapes."

"Fine I'm not, but it would be nice to have some choice in what I eat. Betcha you cant fit ten in your mouth at the same time?" Sawyer stared at her, ready to fight back.

"What are you twelve? An' for your information, I can do one better." He pulled a banana from the box beside him. "I can fit this whole banana in my mouth." His dimpled grin grew. Ana laughed beside him.

"Oh you soooo can't."

"How would you know chica. I can too."

"No you can't."

"I'll have you know I can."

"No you can't."

"Shut up and watch me then." (AN this is my lil quarrel btw) Sawyer began to feel the banana. His palms began to sweat from the pressure, and he became nervous. Stuffing the entire banana into his mouth in one swift motion.

"Okay then. But now ya gotta eat it." Ana jeered. Sawyer gulped in horror. That was sooo not part of the deal, but a mouth full of banana he couldn't exactly complain. He tried to chew it, but his mouth was so damb full. He began to choke, spitting the banana out all over his book. Ana laughed beside him.

"Now look what you made me do chica. You jus' ruined my damb book." From the tree line, Jack looked on at the couple. Jealously flared through him and his cheeks reddened. How come Sawyer always got the girls?

"Now get out from under my damb umbrella!" Ana stood up and began to storm out, when a gunshot echoed through the air. Sawyer ran out after her, picking her up and dragging her back inside.

"Changed my mind muchacha. gotta keep ya safe." Back at the tree line, four others approached Jack, who was now looking around panicked after the gunshot. A bag went over him head and he was dragged away by the others, the rest of the camp with no idea of the incident.

Back in Sawyer's shelter.

"You do realise I'm not letting you back to your shelter now. Ya gotta stay here. We'de better start moving you soon. Ya ready to move house chica?"
