Title: Acid Rain

Summary: After becoming a zombie and losing her Life in the Umbrella Mission, Rain Ocompo is brought back to life when a group of scientist try an experiment and uses her as an example. When the Scientists discover that their experiment id sucessful, they help Rain start her life over again. Rain meets a group of LA Street Racers and falls in love with the leader, Dominic Toretto. Will she ever tell anyone about her past? Will anyone find out? Will there be another zombie outbreak?

Chapter 1


"Rain? Rain Ocompo can you hear me."

She opened her eyes only to have her vision blurred by the bright light that has been a stranger to her for the past 3 months.

"It's working"

Her body felt numb, drained, and limp all at the same time. She wanted to speak. She needed to ask questions that needed to be answered but her mouth and throat were dry as an Arizona Desert. Her skin was moist and pale. Pain from her empty stomach caused her to feel faint.

"She's falling in and out of consciousness"

"Let her rest. When she regains her consciousness again he will talk to her. I'm pretty sure there are a lot of questions she wants to ask her concerning her past and future."

With those words echoing out of the man's mouth, into her ears, and ringing in her head. She closed her eyes once more, wondering if she was going to be able to open them again.

I opened my eyes to the bring lights that hung above me. Where in the hell am I? My pale, soulless body was plague by IV's that were hooked up to heart monitor. I couldn’t believe what I saw. The lines on the monitor were jumping every time my heart beat. I am alive, but the pain and emptiness in my body are causing me to believe otherwise.

"Ahhhh Ms.Ocompo, How are you feeling." Said a man who walked into the room with a lab coat.

By the looks of this guy, I assumed he was smart. I guess I was wrong

"What the hell does it look like?" Rain didnt even make eye contact with the mysterious man. She continued looking at all the x-rays hanging up in the room. She could tell that they are pictures of her body. "Rain, I am Dr.Wilson." The man stuck his pen behind his ear and was going to continue but rain quickly cut him off. "I dont give a damn who you are. I want to know what the hell did you and those friggin nerds did to me. Why does my body look like I havent ate in the past 3 months?" She was right. Her body lossed all of its muscle mass and formed into a thin skeleton frame. "We saved your life. We brought you back from the dead, Rain." Rain scrunched her face in confusion and was ready to respond but she stop. She Remembered. “…..Umbrella” She whispered. Retracing the memory she had left of her chaotic past, she back in the bed.


They’re dead…they are all dead. My team risked their life to save the world from a bunch of blood sucking, flesh eating monsters that were unstoppable. What the hell am I doing here alive? The only thing I can remember is pain. The pain those bastards put me through as they ate at my arms and neck. The only thing I can remember is JD looking at me, before taking a nice chunk out of my neck. The only thing I remember is Alison uttering the words “I could kiss you bitch” before my whole entire world turned black. That’s when I became one of them.

“We are going to keep you here for a few weeks.”
“A few weeks?”
“We have to. Your body is physically out of shape. Your fat % and muscle mass have plummeted. Your brian is functioning properly. For the next few weeks you are going to be just eating and working out. As soon as your body is healthy enough, we will get you an apartment ahd help you get back on your feet."
Rain layed back in the bed and folded her arms across her chest. How was she just going to start all over? The Doctor dismissed himself while Rain turned over in her bed began analyzing all of the crazy thoughts that were now running through her head.


Its been hectic past couple of weeks. My body has been physically worn out by running the tread mills and lifting weights every single day to get my body back into the shape it used be in. They fed me everything from McDonalds, chinesefood, Pizza, and junk food. They even fed me rabbit food like celery, salad, carrots....your typical vegatables and fruits. It didnt matter if i liked the food or not. I was hungry and my body was screaming for it. My skeleton frame was transformed into a tone and muscular build. They even ran test to make sure "my brain was functioning properly". I also had to see a therapist every day so she can observe my daily progression. Not that I needed it. I lived in this world once before. I know what I'm doing.

1 month later

"We think you are ready now Rain. You've have show great progress this past month, your health is good, and your body is in terrific shape." Dr.wilkinson hands her 5 crisp one hundred dollar bills and a set of keys. "Here is 5 hundred dollars and a set of keys to your apartment. That five hundred to buy some food and some clothes. You are on your own now so i suggest you go out to look for a job tommorow." Rain counted the money and put it inside her pocket."Good Luck Rain."

When Rain got to her apartment she was suprised. It was already furnished and had a tv with a dvd player. There was no food in the fridge though. She walked over to the window and let up the blinds to get a view of the tall buildings surrounding Los Angeles. She opened up the window to get some air into the stuffy apartment. It was 9:00 pm. Tired and exhausted, Rain jumped into the shower to wash away all the pain and suffering she went through. When those doctors were running their tests on her, they didnt find one thing, that she was alone with no friends, no family, no one to love.

Author's note: I hope you all liked it. I decided to do something a little different instead of just doing a straight TFTF fanfiction. I will update soon.

Chapter 2

Beep!!....Beep!!....Beeep!![I]

Rain opened up one eye and looked like at the alarm clock as the red degital numbers read 7:00 am. "You gotta be feckin kiddin me." She said in a low rusty voice as she reached her had over and turned it off. Knowing that there was a going to be a long day head, Rain took her precious time getting out of her bed and going into the shower. Her outfit consisted of a simple pair of jeans, boots, and a tee.

[I]Ring Ring Ring!!

"sh-t!!" Rain jumped as the phone startled her. She curiously looked at the phone for 10 more seconds before she finally answered. "Ummm...Hello?" She didnt even know she had a phone. "Hello Rain this is Dr.Wilkinson.I see that the alarm clock has woken you up?" He said. "So how was your night? Did you get well aquainted with your new home?" Rain grabbed her shoe and struggle to put it on her foot as she used her chin and shoulder to hold her phone up.

"Yea, the place is nice. As for last night I just chilled and watched some movies....by myself." Dr.Wilkinson noticed how they stressed the words by myself. "Look Rain just go out and look for a job and try to go out tonight and meet some people." After putting on her other shoe she was ready to go out and walked the streets of LA for the first time in a long time. "Yeah I guess I'll try...look I have to go I'll talk to you later." She hurridly hung up the phone, grabbed her keys and walked out the door.


"Toretto's this is Mia speaking."
"Hello is Dom there?"

Immediatley recognizing the voice of one of Dom's racing groupies, Mia looked back at the office where Dom was sitting at his desk drinking a can of full trottle. "I'm sorry Dom is out right now." She said while putting change in the cash registar. "Well tell him that Lily called." Without even saying bye, Mia hung up the phone and went back to work. "Who was that on the phone?"

"Some girl named lily" Mia smirked as she mentioned the Girl's name knowing that Dom was going to flip. "What did she want." Dom walked over and grabbed another can of full throttle out of the fridge."She asked if you were here and I said no." Dom stopped before walking back into the office and looked at her like she just drunk his last Carona.

"What?" Mia knew why Dom's was staring at her. That was his booty call for the day and she blew it for him. "You cant just lie like that Mia, Lilly is a very important customer to me." Looking at her older wtih a sly smirk on his face, Mia starting to catch on to his dirty mind. "Oh my gosh Dom, you are such a whore. One of these days, somegirl is going to have you whipped." Opening a bag a chip and inserting one into his mouth he sarcasticly replied "Yea and it could be the next girl to walk in here."

Mia just shook her head and continue to sit behind the counter scribling down pictures in her little notepad since she had nothing else to do. When she heard the door open she sat her pen down and gave her attention to her next customer. A short puerto rican woman came in with a newspaper in one hand and a bottle of water in the other. She looked unfamiliar so Mia assumed that she was out of town and she had the newspaper for job searching. "Hi, can I get something for you?" The woman sat down on the stool and immediatley opened her newspaper up to the help wanted section. "Sure, can I get 2 chocolate glazed donuts please." Mia walked to the side of the counter where the donuts were. "So are you new here?" Mia placed the donuts in a white paper bag and sat them on the counter. "Yeah, I just moved here, How much do I owe you?" She said I she was begenning to reach for her pocket. "Its on the house." Mia said with a smile."By the way my name is Mia" She said reaching out her hand. "(Shaking Mia's hand).....Rain."

"I told you man, you wern't her type." Rain whipped around in her stool to see a slim man with dirty blond hair walk in followed by 2 other men. "Naw dawg. She only dissed me because you two losers were standing there making me look bad." The man with the blonde hair walked behind the counter like he straight up owned the place. "How it's going mia." mumbled the man with a tank top on, shaggy hair and a light beard. The man with a regular t-shirt and a goatee sat next to Rain. "So Mia, who's your friend." Rain looked up from her newspaper to face the man that was staring at her with a smile on his face. "My name is Rain, and you who are?" Before the man answered, Mia jumped in and interrupted. "Some loser named Leon and the guy that looks like a warewolf....that's vince. They all work here too." Mia chuckled as Vince made a face at her.

I'm glad that Mia Jumped in because I was uninterested in that guy anyways. What I really wanted to know was who was the mystery man sitting behind the desk in the office with the light bouncing off of his bald head.

"Who's the guy behind the desk? Your Boyfriend?" Mia's forehead immediatley wrinkled from the disgusted look that was placed upon his face. "Ewww no. Thats my brother, Dominick but we all call him Dom." Rain glanced down at her watch and realized she had been there for 45 minutes and she still had some shopping to do. "Look I have to go. Umm...so where can I find some trouble around this area." Mia grabbed a pen a paper and began to jot something down. "Here's my number. Call me up around 8:00 pm and i'll come by to pick you up." Rain grabbed the paper and stuffed it in her pocket. She told everyone good bye and exited the shop.

Ever since Rain asked Mia, about who was sitting in the office. Dom secretly kept an eye on her. He had a mirror placed on his desk and he used it to watch her every move. There was just something about Rain that made Dom want to jump her bones right in the middle of the shop.

Chapter 3

"Rain If something ever happened to me on one of our missions, can you promise me something?"

Rain looked at the man with in the eyes showing that she had his full and undivided attention.

"Promise me that you will always keep this." The man reached into his pocket and pulled out a silver locket. Rain grabbed it from him. When she opened it, it revealed a picture of her and JD kissing each other. She looked at him and without a world she grabbed the back of his head and pulled her face closer to his as they engaged on a deep and passionate kiss.

[I]*RING*RING*RING*

Rain shot up immediatley out of her sleep as the phone startled her. She was breathing heavily with cold sweat lightly damped on her forehead. She grabbed the locket that was placed around her neck and gently rubbed it with her thumb. JD was the only man that she had plans to spend the rest of her life with. Unfortunatley it didn't turn out that way.

*Beep*

"Rain this is Dr.Wilkinson. I was just calling to check up on you and to see how you were adjusting to your new surroundings. Call me back when you recieve this message.

Beep

Rain walked over to the phone began to call him back. Suddenly she paused for a moment and pushed her tongue to the side of her mouth and lifted up her right eyebrow. She then started to go through her jean and found a scrunched up piece of paper. She quickly memorized the number and dailed it.

"Hello?"
"Hi is mia there?"
"this is she."
"Hey this is Rain th-" Rain was getting ready to explain herself but to her suprised mia remembered who she was.
"Hey Rain was up?
"Nothin, hey I was just wonderin are you still doin somethin tonight?"
"Yea we're all about to head over to this race in like 30 minutes. Wanna come?"
"Sure, I would love to."
"Alright whats your address?"
"509 West Columbia blvd. Apt 3."
"alright I will be there in 10. See ya in a little bit"
"Bye"
Rain quickly hung up the phone, grabbed a set of the new clothes she bought and ran to the bathroom to freshen up before Mia got there.

"Man my first time going out in a long while. I wonder what's this race all about. Man im.....nervous. I just met these people today. I know Mia is cool but i dont know who is all going to be there and if they are going to accept me or not. I'm just going to be myself and if then they don't like me then ohwell"

Rain's thoughts were quickly interrupted when she heard noise coming front the living room. She immediatley stopped was she was doind and transformed into "attack mode". She slowly walked down the hallway that led to the livingroom and walked up to the front door. It was slightly cracked open.

"Hey I ju-" Before the person could even finish Rain whipped around and punched them right in the face."Ahhh sh-t!!". She was get ready to apply some more damage but she realized that it was Dom. "Oh sh-t dude I am sooooo sorry! I th..I thought that someone was breaking into my house." Dom repeatedly touched his nose to check for blood. "Mia sent me over here to pick you up. I knocked on the door and you didnt answer. I noticed the door was unlocked so I came in to see if you were alright."

Great. Now I feel even more like a jackass

"Oh my god. Look I know this doesn't help the pain, but I'm sorry." Dom made sure his nose was leaking anyblood as Rain was grabbing her cellphone and purse. "Look Don't worry about it okay. Let's go." When they walked to the parking lot, there was a dark red Mitsubishi spider. Rain almost walked passed but she noticed Dom was walking to the driver's side. He disarmed the alarm and they both got in.

"Nuh uh, safety first." Rain didnt know that Dom was talking about untill she noticed that her seatbelt wasn't on. She buckeled her seatbelt as Dom began to drive. An akward silence formed between the to of them. Rain started to fumble around with thoughts in her head. She still felt guilty about what happened about at the apartment. "Look I'm sorry for punching you." Dom chuckled at her. "Look its alright, you dont have to keep apologizing. I think its pretty cool to see a woman who can defend herself. There are alot of crazy people running around the streets these days." Dom looked at rain. She was sitting there looking a bit uneasy. "So what brings you to LA?" Rain couldn't tell him the truth. She began to fumbling through her brain for a story.

Think quick Rain.

"I used to live in Spokane,Washington. But I wanted to move to LA so I can get a fresh start in life, you know?" Dom knodded to show that he was listening even though he was focusing on the road ahead of him. "Have you ever been to a street race?" Rain looked out of he window to observe the bright lights of LA. "No, but I've heard of one.Are you racing?" Dom reached into the glove compartment and grabbed a cd. "Nope, not tonight." Rain started to laugh a little. "Why, you scared?"

Before Dom pressed play on the CD player, he looked at Rain who was waiting for his reaction with a sly smirk on her face. "Listen Sweetie, if there is one thing you need to know about Dominic Toretto, its that he aint scared of nothin." Each sentence that was coming out of Dom's mouth made it easier and easier for rain to talk to him like she had known him all of her life. "Well actions do speak louder than words Mr.Toretto."

After another 5 minutes of driving Dom and Rain pulled up infront of a huge crowd of people. Before Rain got out of the car she looked around at all the cars that were lined up on the side. There were Hondas, Mitsubishis, and pontiacs. There were'nt justt ordinary cars. They were tricked out with all kinds of painting jobs and body kits. When she got out of the car she noticed a few women that ran over and mobbed Dom like he was some king. Rain looked around noticed that Mia wasnt too far so she walked over to where she was. "Looks like your brother is quite the ladie's man." Mia laughed at Rain's comment."Nah, its just that alot of the women around here are racer groupies. They'll do anything to get the attention of the top street racer around here. How was the ride with my brother anyways?" Rain looked down at her fist that was still throbbing from the unintentional punch that was thrown to Dom's face. "Lets just say that it was very interesting,"

"Hey I remember you, you were that chick in the store today." Rain and Mia looked up and saw the skinny blonde hair man that was in the shop earlier that day. "Whats up? I'm jesse." He and Rain shook hands as Vince walked over to them. "Is Dom racing tonight?" He asked. "I don't know man ask him." Vince looked around and spotted Dom talkin to hector."Dom you racin tonight?" Dom was about to say no but he looked at Rain who was standing there and remembered the conversation that had earlier about him racing. "Yeah I'm racing tonight." While anyone wasn't looking Dom winked his eye at Rain."Rain began to blush a little but she turned her head so he couldn't see. "Where's leon," Mia asked Jesse who was cleaning his sunglasses with his t-shirt. "He's on the scanner watching for cops. Well we gotta go, you comin to the party tonight Rain?"

"Party? What Party?"

"Yea I guess." She said even though she didnt know where it was going to be. "Sweet, ill see ya there." Vinced said bye to rain as they both walked off to their cars. Five minutes later, a short bald hispanic man started to yell as the cars that were racing began to line up. "Alright everyone, winner takes $2,000 cash money, I better not catch anyone taking anyshort cuts or else you will be disqualified from the race aight? Let the games begin!" Everyone began to cheer as four cars pulled up to the spray painted line. The Intensity began to build as the racers gased up their engines. "on your marks...get set..." The hispanic man held is hand in the air for a few more seconds before finally pulling it down.

"GO!"


After the race

"Rockstar" by Nickelback blasted on surround sound through out the house where everyone was crowded and having a great time. Dom was counting his money and flashin showing everyone the benefits of his victory. Rain was posted up against the wall drinking a carona. It was the third one she had in one hour. Mia was talking to Vince, while Leon and jessee were scamming on some females.

"How come you're not dancing?" Rain looked and saw Dom standing infront of her with his own Carona in his hand. "I'm a little too buzzed to dance right now."She smiled. Dom chugged down the rest of his Carona he had left. Before saying anything else Leon came running inside. "yo dawg, Tran is outside." Dom threw his carona bottle in the trash and immediatley began to walk outside. A curious Rain followed.

When we walked outside there were two asian dudes standing in the drive way. One of them was built but not as built as dom though. The other was short skinny and had these tight leather pants on. Dominic and the man were looking at each other eye to eye. You could cut tension with a knife

"What's up Dom? I heard that you were running around on my sister tonight?" Rain knew that the person that Dom was running around with was supposed to be her. A couple asian girls thrown her dirty looks but she didn't think it was that serious. "Me and your sister were never together Johnny. It was just a quick f-ck." Everyone sorta oohed and awwed at the cold response."You better quick talking about my sister like she's some hoe running streets!" At this point, Johnny and Dom faces were so close that it looked like they were about to kiss each other. "She came after me begging for some like she was a hoe." Everyone was waiting for some to throw the first punch. Johnny glanced at Rain as she stood behind Dom. His sister has ran and told him about Rain being in the car with Dom when they arrived to the Race. "She's no less of a hoe then the bitch behind you."

"f-ck y-" Rain was about to let Johnny have a piece of her mind but that was put to a halt when Dom drew his hand back and punched him in the face. Everyone backed up into a huge circle. Lance quickly stepped in but only to meet leon, Vince, and jesse who also stepped in. "You wanna thow down too Ricky Martin?" Jesse said. Johnny just backed up a little and holding his face. With out another word or move, him and lance got on their crotch rockets and left. "Alright Everone part is over...time to go home now." Leon yelled as everyone walked away from the driveway. "Come on I'll take you home." Dom said to rain as he began to walk to his Mitsubishi Spider. Rain, still in shock from what just happened, walked to the car and hopped in the passenger side. The whole ride was filled with nothing but silence. When they pulled up to her Apartment, Rain sat there and looked at Dominic as he grabbed his hand and rubbed his sore knuckle."You didn't have to do that." Rain broke the long silence."Those hands are meant for more than just fighting, Dominick."

"Wait did i just say that?!?!"

"What are they meant for." Dom still seemed kinda angry from what happened back out the house, so Rain used her comment as an excuse to lighten the mood. "To please the females man!" Dom couldn't help but laugh at the way she said that. "I'll see you tomorrow." With that she got out of the car. Dom sat in his car and watched her walk into the apartment.

Chapter 4

"What's up Rain?" Leon said while walking out of Torettos while Rain was walking in. "Nothin much man." Rain grabbed a stool and hopped on it. Mia stopped wiping the counters as she watched rain pull out another newspaper and opened it up to the job sections ....again. "You still haven't found a job yet?" Rain grabbed a marker and circled a spot "Nope." Mia walked over to the fridge and pulled out two cans of red bull. One for her and one for Rain. "Rain, If finding you a job is causing you alot of trouble, you can always work here you know?" Rain appreciated Mia's offer but she wanted to find a job on her own.

"I don't know whats wrong with it man, it just won't start." Jesse said as he popped the hood on his car, and looked at the engine. "Have you gotten an oil change yet." Vince said as he walked over to the car and looked at the engine. "I just got one last week." Leon started to look at the battery. "Have you gotten a new battery yet Dawg?" Jesse walks over to the tool box and searches for a wrench. "I just got the damn thing like 3 weeks ago."

Leon, jesse, Vince, continued to look at the car as Dom walks out of his office to see what's up. Dom Tweaked the engine a bit and tried to start up the car but no luck. "What are you knuckle heads up to." All of the men looked up to see who it was. "Hey Rain, what's up. I'm just tryin to see whats with my baby." Jesse replied as he rubbed the side of the car. While all the men were talking about what they should do with the car, Rain was taking a peak underneath the hood. She study the car parts for about 10 seconds before she reached her hand underneath the hood and twisted somethin. She then walked over to the driver's side of the car and twisted the key that was alread inserted into the ingnition.

Vroooom!! Vroooom!!

The boys immediatley stopped their conversation when they heard the car going off. Rain got out of the drivers seat and grabbed a rag to wipe the oil off of her hands. "How did you do that?!?!" Vince said. "Well While you all were standing around talking, I took a peak underneath the hood and saw that your battery wasnt connect right...and there was a little oil spill so I wiped that up too." Everyone just stood there in amazement.

"Well I'll let you guys get back to work" Rain was about to walk back into the store before Dom gently grabbed her arm and pulled her inside of his office. "You still lookin for a job?" Dom whispered. "Yeah why?" Dom walked over to his closet and grabbed one of those body suits that car mechanics wear to work. "You wouldn't mind wearin these old things to work every day would you?" Rain couldn't help but smile at the suit as she grabbed it out of Dom's hands.

"Thanks Dom. I....I really appreciate it." She said with a small grin on her face. "No prob." He said as he smiled and walked out of the office to grab a can of full throttle. Rain continued to stand around in the office in awe. She looked through the window and saw Mia giving her a thumbs up. She chuckled to herself as she gave Mia thumbs up as well. She then watches Dom as he starts to Joke around with his sister. Rain smiled at thought of working next to Dominic Toretto.

"I think I'm going to like it here"

After Work at the Toretto's house

"You know vince, even though you do look like a coyote, you are a very nice guy" Everyone started to laugh as Vince grabbed Rain and put her in a head lock. "Okay, okay I was just kidding hahaha." Started to laugh as he heard Rain beg for mercy. He then let her go and began to laugh at her comment. Rain walked over to the fridge and grabbed a corona. She was about to sit back down but noticed that Dom was outside sitting on the patio by himself smoking a cigerrette. She opened up the fridge a grabbed another carona and walked outside, sat next to Dom on the patio and handed him the second Carona.

"Thanks." He said as he put out his cigg and opened up the bottle. "So where did you learn to work on cars?" He asked curiously as he took a swig of his corona. "Well when I was like 6, me and a few other kids used to find old, run down cars and just mess with them. We did that untill we were like 14. When High school came around I took a auto shop classes. I just basically educated myself you know?" Rain took the first swig of her corona and looked up at the stars.

"What happened to your and Mia's parents Dom?" Rain began to regret askig him the parent question because it took Dom a minuted to answer. "My mom Died when she gave birth to Mia. My dad, died during a racing accident. Some guy rammed his car into the wall while it was going 190 miles per hour and it just blew up. A couple of weeks later I saw the same guy that hit my dad and I had a wrench in my hand. All of suddened I just grabbed the man and kept hitting him over and over and over with the wrench. After I realized what i was doing his face was totally disfigured. I was sentenced 2 years in prison....I'll kill myself before I go back."

Rain didn't take her eyes off of Dom as he quickly took another drink of his Corona. She wanted to cry so bad for him but she knew that she needed to stay strong for Dominic. "I never knew who my dad was. My mom was a druggie and when I was a baby she threw me away in a garbage can." Rain tried to hold back the tears that were about to fall down her face."These people found me and raised me untill I was 18. I don't have any family." That signature angry scowl took over Rain's face as a single tear rolled down her cheek. Dom gently grabbed ger face and wiped away here tear with his thumb. "You do have family, we're your family. Nobody deserves to be alone Rain." Rain looked into Dom's eyes as she leaned her face toward his. Dom leans his face a little closer and began to part his lips.....

"Hey you guys want to watch Halloween: H20?." Dom and Rain quickly sat up when Mia came outside. "Uhh yeah sure." Rain said as she grabbed her corona that was still have full. Mia walked back into the house. Rain grabbed Dom's hand and pulled him up. He got up, grabbed his beer and walked into the house behind rain.

Later that night

"nooooooo!!!!"

"Do it!!!! Do it!!!!"

"Kill her!!" said the computer screen with the little girl voice

"I said Do it!"



Dom jumped out of his bed startled by all the yelling he heard. He quickly walked into the livingroom and saw Rain Screaming in her sleep. He walked over to where she was and started to shake her. "Rain.....Rain wake up!" Rain woke up with cold sweat on her forehead. She was breathing heavily and began to rock back and forth. Dom had a look of shock and dismay. He just grabbed Rain, held her, trying to calm her down. "Shhhh babe, It was just a nightmare." He whispered. After a few minutes Rain fell asleep in Dom's arms.

After Dom realized she was sleeping peacefully he got up quietly and went back to his room. He layed back down in his bed. 5 minutes later he heard his door creep open. Still sleepy dom opened up one eye and saw Rain walk in with a blanket wrapped around her. "Is it alright if i sleepp in your bed with you?" She whispered. Dom nodded his head up and down as Rain jumped onto his bed. Dom scooted over to make room. Rain snuggled next to him anyways and they both fell sleep.

Next Morning

Dom started to smell food in his sleep. When he opened his eyes the spot next to his bed was empty. He got out of his bed and slipped on his white wife beater and walked to the kitchen. Everyone was at the kitchen eating except for rain. "Where's rain?" He said as he began to poor a glass of orange juice. "She had a Doctor's appointment. She said she will be at work in a couple of hours."

At the Doctor's office

"Well Rain it looks like there are no after effects of the experiment." Dr.Wilkinson said as he looked at his clipboard. "Thank God for that." Rain said with a chuckle and grabbed her jacket. "So how is life so far." Rain thought about everyone at shop and smiled. "It's going real good. I Have a job now. I'm a car machanic at a local autoshop." Dr.Wilkinson put down his clipboard, walked over to the door and opened it up for rain. "That's great to hear. I will see you soon?" He said opening the door. "Sure, I'll see you later Doc." She then walked out of the office and headed to work. What she didn't know was Johnny Tran was at the same doctor's office as she was.

"What's she doing here?"

Johnny watched Rain walk out of the building before he went to the same room she walked out of. "Hey Uncle Eric....."
