He sat in the living room like any other day, watching TV. He had it on low, it was uninteresting like everything else seemed to be lately. His mind was preoccupied with only one thought.

The ringing of the phone pierced thorough his thoughts. He looked at the clock it read 1:00 am, he wondered who could be calling so late.

“Hello?” he asked into the receiver expecting it to be a prank phone call or bad news. “Hey it’s me.” the soft voice flowed into his ears. He smiled slightly then began to worry. “Are you ok? Is something wrong?” she chuckled at the rapid questions. “I’m fine. Can you talk?” she asked as he looked to the doorway that led to the kitchen. “Yeah but I gotta be quite ‘cause Leann is in the next room.” he whispered now and as he spoke to her, he wished that it was her who was in the kitchen and not on the phone. He wished she was the one living with him. “Dom?” she asked hesitantly. “Yeah.” “I miss you.”

“I miss you too.” he spoke now wanting to touch her, to see her. He missed her more than anything in the world. He had never really moved on after the breakup, he still loved her.

In the background he heard the voice of a men, her boyfriend. “Does he know you’re talking to me?” he asked out of curiosity. “He figures.” she paused for a moment, “Do you think she knows?” he knew what she was asking “No she doesn’t know anything.” he had made sure to cover everything up, he had stories and people to say they were witness to the place he supposedly went to and the people he supposedly saw.

He made sure that his affair was covered up. Leann had caught him once with Letty but he made promises to stop. Yet he couldn’t stop, he was in love with Letty.

“When am I going to see you again?” he asked her now. He always left it up to her, they saw each other as much as they could. It also meant a two hour drive and in the end it was worth it.

“You know sometimes I wish it was you who was here with me, instead of her.” he told her and she stayed quiet which was good because he had not finished. “I love you and I realize that I made a mistake when I agreed to go our separate ways. I love to hear your voice it sounds so sweet coming from the lips of an angel. I love you Letty.” he said near tears. “I love you too, Dominic.”

Seeing her once a month was not doing it for him, he needed her with him everyday. Because without her he was nothing, he wasn’t Dominic Toretto, he wasn’t king of the streets, he was just a person lost in a crowed of many people. He was lonely even when there were thousands surrounding him, nothing made him more complete then Letty.

They stood facing each other a smile and tears poring down her face as they shared their vows. “I take you Letty to be my wife….” “I take you Dom to be my husband….”

They shared their first kiss as husband and wife. He finally felt complete, he was happy and nothing could take that away from him.

Awww. That was really sweet. Glad Dom wised up, dumped the girl and got back with Letty. And they got married too! Yay! Great job. :)
