i hope we don't go to war with korea either! they're crazy i think they still got weapons of mass destructions...i mean iraq was crazy with the suicide bombers but korea would have chemical warfare ... but whatevers i hope they don't but if they do... whatevers

Unfortunately, war is the one constant throughout human history. It's a part of our world and, i'm not a pessimist, but that's something that will never change.

I do have a theory ( a very stupid one i might add) that if we all forgot about war, then there wouldn't be any.
It's like, if you forget you have homework then you won't do it (bad example?!?) :P

I don't agree, because when the Tsunami happened it was no longer news in 6months time and was wide open for people to take advantage of other peoples kindness. I thought I was being a real hero to people on the otherside of the world when I donated 200 dollars to the world vision tsunami aid, my work mate was floored because I'm normally such a tight arse and said I would've rebuilt a village with that kinda money.
But then what happens? none of the aid ever makes it to thailand, food supplies get left to rot on a dock in Sydney somewhere and World Vision start flooding my mailbox asking me to donate more.
If you want something done right you gotta do it yourself, and at least that way people will actually see you caring.

Personally I'd rather see people come together over something like music and not a disaster. Bryan Adams went to Pakistan for the first time not long ago and his show went off. And if people will go mental over music thats not even in their language I think it goes to show we all appreciate the things that are the same and that we can put differences aside.

I think the f... war is just the result of the bad work that do the politicians; they only think in money, power and increase his selfishness!! I'm sure that if the population could be decide any war won't happen!! :cuss:

I'm no tree hugger either but like most I agree although look at how poorly us Americans got together after the hurricaines and how little impact the tsunami was. Our senses have been dulled due to how realistic telelivision is today. We see major catastrophies all the time as entertainment so when the real thing comes along we are no longer shocked. Unfortunately though I have friend after friend being sent over seas to fight in a war I cannot get myself to believe in but what can I do but support them? It's frustrating but it's the way of the world.

i am german, fascinated of the great harmony, but i read the books about my folk.
it is always the same, one person want to make war and all run in the dead.

it is so sadly. my life is collapsed, i had think it is only one times, or sometimes in thousand year, that all people go amok, that is bad enought.

but everywhere, everytime,. beginning of crime in cities of hungry to world war.
and after the war, are all depressed,

it is surly that we have all wrong person they we follow.

dont forget the markets, to make money for more immaterial entertainments.

surely the great bang is coming, if the popullution is so high, that we cant alife on earth. because all want the expansive food, and want more and more.

we all need only need sympathicsm, rational think(that have less humans),

Sometimes war is a necessary evil which must be endured for the greater good. Other times, as we've seen all to clearly of late, war is the first answer for a question with many possible choices.

I don't see a war with N. Korea in the near-future, but eventually all other avenues will have been traveled and that final path must be taken.
