I liked it. I kept waiting for Michelle to put a cap in someone though, heh.

She came off as real sweet in her scenes with Liotta. Although in the scene where they visit the amusement park, I kept thinking "Michael Jackson called, he wants his leather jacket back".

Afterwards I watched the featurette. They asked her(off film) if she was a movie star. She said if she were, she'd have flown in on a Lear jet. They also apparently asked her why she was there, or what her role was....and she said she's just supporting the guys. Seemed kind of frustrated.

She was quite different, quite a vulnerable character. Teresa seemed like she was trying to get her life back on track, but she was scared of failing again. I really like that character. I thought she looked great!

And the featurette, i thought she came across as her usual bubbly self. I dont think she was frustrated at all. There was something she said was really funny in that featurette, im gonna have to go and watch it to try and remember what it was. But she was being really down to earth, not acting like a movie star at all, even though she is one :P . She always seems to bond well with the backstage crew and get to know people round the set, like she doesnt wanna disregard them just because theyre behind the scenes. I really like that.

They don't have Blockbuster near where I live. I rented it at Hastings.

And I buy them all too Kat. Dont see the point of renting <_< . If you rent it you have to pay so much to keep re-renting it so you can watch it again and again (esp if its a Michelle film ;) ), you might as well just buy it and own it and watch it whenever :D

I finally got to watch Control last night and here's my take....

I thought Ray liotta was frickin hilarious at the beginning where he kept on saying f*ck like a thousand times in one sentence. My fave is when he got mad at the video game and picked up the tv and threw it.

People who say that michelle isnt a flexible actress and all she does it tough girl roles....there are .....okay...ummm STUPID! I loved her in this movie. I'm not used to her being the "nice character" so i thought that was interesting to watch.

when ray liotta get shot I thought that the part where michelle open the door so the police could come in a couple of scenes before was the last part about their relationship so i got mad. THEN.....as he is dying his life begins to flash before his eyes and all he basically thought about was theresa and it showed where she actually let him in and before he ran out the house, he grabbed her face and kissed her. Michelle looked so cute when she had that little sad look on her face that i wanted to start bawlin.

overall it was a good film...I give it a 7/10

that rating was just about right. I just wished there was more michelle :P

overall..... I did not really like the movie...but Ithought Michelle was great in it

I liked Control. The premise behind it was good, even though the ending was a cop out - was not impressed. Michelle was great. The role could have been expanded but I guess the film was focussed more on the relation between Ray Liotta and Willem Dafoe's characters. Is it wrong that I found Teresa to be adorable? Such a sweet character. And can I have the jacket she wears whilst at the fun fair? :P

(On a girly side note, Michelle's hair in this film was great. So so long.)

I still havent seen it......so sad.... :(

Ooh! What happens in the movie? I dun mind spoilers. :D I've been wanting to see it since it's kind of sci fi-ish.

This dude (Ray Liotta), is like a killer. He accidently kills this slow guy. Then he gets arrested and he is put in this lab. And they test him and try to change him, to be a good person. And along the way he changes and stuff, he meets Michelle by applying for a job. And the doctor (Willam Dafoe a.k.a "The Green Goblin" from Spiderman), he's the one who is trying to change him.

Truth is, it's not a bad plot or a bad set of actors. But the movie just... it just was... it need another director or something. It was okay now that I think about it.

I'm watching that sci-fi original movie "tin man" right now and I couldn't place where I knew the woman who plays the main villain. Well, I looked her up and found kathleen robertson on imdb.com, and it turns out she was in "control" with michelle! I don't remember her so maybe I'll have to rewatch that movie sometime, but what blew me away were all the (brace yourselves)....nice things people had to say about her and the movie!
