Feedback: Please, this is my first fanfiction, thought I would say that.
Summary: This is before and I guess a little during the movie. Its about Letty & Dom’s relationship and Letty troubles.
Author’s Note: Don’t post this any where else please and thank you :D I just started, I tend not to complete things but I plan to with this. I’ve written other things but never and fanfiction and I’ve never finished anything yet but as long as I write this by ear and don’t jump and plan the ending I’ll get it done. Encourage me :lol: Hope you like :D


Chapter 1: When you final get use to things

Letty sat on the living room sofa reading a magazine, her mother entered the room with Brad, laughing and giggling, touching and kissing. Letty glanced at them and then rolled her eyes looking back to her magazine. Letty hated Brad, she didn’t know why she just had a bad feeling about him and every time her mother was with or talking about him Letty got irritated, maybe it was a little bit of the fact that he was like twenty-eight and her mother was like forty, over ten years older. Her mother had been dating Brad for a year now, ever since her father left six years ago when Letty was nine her mother wasn’t the same, she never smiled. Letty never told her mother of her dislike of Brad because she didn’t want her mother’s happiness to go away. Letty heard her mother in the kitchen with Brad now.

“I’m going to Mia’s.” Letty said grabbing her jacket, opening the door to the late night sky.

“eh, Lett!” Vince shouted from the back yard. Letty walked to the gate and saw Vince, Mia, and Dom grilling burgers and swimming in the pool.

“We’ve been waiting for you.” Mia said.

Dom and Mia had been living in the house alone for a year now, after there fathers death. Vince moved in not to long after to help lighten the load and he and his parents never got along with his rebel ways. Jessie and Leon moved in when they started working at the auto shop with Vince and Dom. They became their own odd family, which Letty was a part of but still had her mother to live with.

Letty walked to the grill. “Smells great, Dom. Where are Jessie and Leon?” She turned around and saw the newest arrivals to the team walk through the gate with a pack of beer in their hands. Leon grabbed a beer from his hand and pored some on the burgers. “Better flavor, man.” He said with a little laugh. Letty toke of her jeans and jacket she had over her two piece black bikini and sat beside Mia.

The last year of all their life’s had a big impacted on them and they were finally getting use to the way there life’s have now rounded. To Letty Mia and Dom’s father felt like hers. She grew up with them all and her father left when she was nine and she now is fifteen in three weeks she will be sixteen, finally able to race at the tracks. Dom had finally accepted his father’s death. He had been dealing with it and had been trying to help Mia with her issues to but couldn’t handle it all so everyone helped out. Dom finally got back to racing at the tracks and continued working at the auto shop with him, Vince, Leon, and Jessie to support them all.

“Mia you gonna fix the salad?” Vince yelled over to Mia sitting by the pool. “Coming!” Mia yelled back.

Letty sat staring at the water, thinking about last year. Then she was snapped out of her thoughts when Dom yelled saying dinner was done. Letty was a little out of it today, kind of in her own world, she felt a weird feeling but couldn’t place it. Then Vince and Jessie started acting like idiots and got her out of her world with laughter on her and every one else.

“Letty! Get that paper finished!” Mia yelled, reminding Letty of her paper she had been delaying until the last minute.

“Ha, Ha, See ya guys!” Letty said.

“See ya tomorrow Lett.” Dom said.

Letty walked into the house and saw her mother and Brad kissing on the living room sofa. She turned to the stairs and started walking up to her room and then her mother called for her. “Letty, can I see you a minute.” Her mother said more like an order than a question. Letty walked to the living room. “Have a seat.” Her mother said once again. Letty sat on the chair and felt that feeling she had been feeling all night. Her mother looked at Brad and smiled. Letty looked at her with a alarmed look.

“Letty, I’m marrying Brad.” Her mother said with her eyes on Brad. Letty’s eyes filled with horror, repulsion and a little anger. She wanted her mother to be happy but marry Brad, she couldn’t wrap her head around that thought. Letty sat shocked still. Then she finally spoke what she felt, not trying to hurt her mother but she just finally snapped. She had excepted Brad as her mother’s boyfriend but now her stepfather, living in her house.

“What! Mother! Why? He’s ten years younger than you, he’s and idiot. Mother?” She said this with anger and in a bit of a pleading way, not wanting this to happen. She finally got use to things the way they were and they were changing again. Letty couldn’t bare to look at her mothers eyes that only loved Brad. She couldn’t bare to look at Brad. She saw her mother’s eyes get a questioning look in them. She had never said she didn’t like Brad what is wrong now her mother thought inside. Letty ran to her room, locked the door and turned her stereo up as loud as it would go, trying to drown out her anger and sadness all at once. She heard her mothers hand knock on the door several times but ignored it. Her mother finally gave up for the night.

Chapter 2: After that

Letty woke and rushed down stairs not wanting to see her mother, she also didn’t want to know or even see Brad if he was there. She ran out the door and luckily Brad didn’t stay the night he was entering the house as she was leaving and she ran into him. He grabbed her arms and told her to slow down. She continued and ignored him.

Letty arrived at school and toke a seat beside Mia in English class.

“Did you do your paper?” Mia asked kind of in a joking way positive she did it. Letty was great at getting things done at the last minute and always did.

“Damn!” Letty yelled in anger. Anger to her mother, Brad and herself for allowing all of this to happen.

Mia gave Letty a shocking look. “You didn’t do it? You always pull through. What happened?” Mia asked.

Letty said nothing and put her elbow on the desk and held her head in her hands. The bell rang and class was over. Letty walked out of the room with Mia following. “Letty?” Mia asked. Letty didn’t stop walking. “Letty!” Mia grabbed her arm. “What’s up? You look stressed.” Mia said in a concerned way. Letty didn’t feel like spilling her guts at the moment. “Nothing.” Letty said and walked away.

Letty laid on her bed and thought about the changes that were going to happen. She than said in her head why are you so uptight? He’s nice, mom loves him. The only thing that would really change would be that he would be here, all the time, living here.

Letty didn’t like change and she was a little afraid of it. She wanted her mother happy but she also wanted to be happy herself. Letty continued thinking. Later she heard a knock on her door.

“Letty, dinner is ready.” Her mother stated.

Letty felt bad, she felt her mother was mad at her. But Letty wasn’t ready to talk to her mother and didn’t want to know yet again if Brad was down stairs. “I’m not hungry.” Was all Letty could say. Her mother accepted her answer and went down stairs. Letty was still lying down on her bed and stayed that way until the morning.

Letty got in from school and saw her mother sitting at the table in the kitchen. She saw her mothers face and it looked sad. She walked into the kitchen and had a seat at the table sitting across from her mother.

“Mom, what’s wrong?” Letty asked.

“Sweetie, I won’t marry Brad if you don’t want me to. I want you to be happy to. I’m sorry I pushed this on you. I won’t marry Brad.” Her mother said.

Letty’s face grew sad looking at her mothers face as she said those words. Letty couldn’t be responsible for her mothers unhappiness so she decided to accept the one thing she wasn’t ready to. “Mom, marry Brad.”

“What?” Her mother asked.

“I want you to.” Letty said with lying eyes. Then she tried to replace her last statement with another. “I want you to be happy.”

“Really Letty? You’re okay with Brad?” Her mother asked with delight in her eyes.

Letty lied once again. “Yes.”

“Letty! Oh, we’ll have so much fun, with planning the wedding and all, oh I love you.” Her mother said kissing her forehead. As her mother left the room Letty’s fake smile turned to uncertainty. She thought in her head how could I have said that. But she quickly shook away her thoughts.

Letty walked into the Toretto’s house. Jessie and Vince were playing a game on the playstation and Leon was laughing at them, Mia was doing the dishes in the kitchen and Dom was sitting in a chair reading a car magazine and watching the guy’s race on the playstation. Letty walked into the living room and laughed at the guys forgetting about her problems at home.

“Mia’s mad at you.” Dom said to Letty looking up from his magazine and back down.

“Why?” Letty asked not realizing that she practically had ignored her the day before and earlier to day.

Dom just shrugged his shoulders not knowing. Letty walked into the kitchen with a bag of chips, for their weekly movie night. She laid it on the counter and lifted her self up on the counter as well. Mia saw her out of the corner of her eye not saying anything. Letty looked at Mia at then at the dish Mia was washing. “I’m sorry Mia, I didn’t mean to neglect you. It just. . .” Letty didn’t finish.

“It’s just what?” Mia asked.

“My mom, she’s marrying Brad.” Letty said with a sigh.

Mia put down a dish she was washing and looked at Letty. “That’s great.” Mia looked at Letty’s face which was looking at the floor. “Isn’t it?” Mia finally asked.

“I guess.” Letty said disappointed. “It’s just I don’t like Brad.”

“Did you tell your mom?”

“I tried, but she wasn’t happy so, I guess it’s really not that big of a deal.” Letty said getting of the counter. “Let me help I’ll dry.” Letty said ending the subject. Mia saw a sad look on Letty’s face and flicked it with water to get a smile out of her. The two began to flick water back and forth.

“Hey, you to chicky’s done with those dishes, we’re starting the movie.” Leon stepped into the kitchen.

“Yah, Leon were coming.” Mia said. Mia walked out of the kitchen and Letty grabbed the chips and a pack of soda.

They all sat around the TV and watched the movie.
